Myself and my wife stayed in Arras chiefly to visit the Christmas Market and then to visit a family WW1 grave nearby at Ficheaux. We arrived Sunday pm, the market starts at 12pm until 8pm. Strangely, I like Ibis hotels, though I'm not sure why. Rooms are hardly bigger than cupboards, corridors are narrow, and the furnishings are cheap and a little nasty. Brilliant location with parking close by. Extremely helpful front staff. Very adequate rooms and pleasant public interiors. Good buffet breakfast. Great value for money. Highly recommended as an unfussy practical hotel. more

I stayed here over a chilly Easter weekend. Though alone, I was given a room for three! No view available except onto little side streets but no noise from traffic, either!
