We arrived in Arras to tour WW1 sites including Vimy Ridge. From the moment we arrived we were treated with kindness and generosity of spirit. The rooms are large, immaculate, and well equipped with towels, water, coffee and tea. There is a central room with a fridge and brochures about the area. The hosts provided a beautiful and tasty breakfast that... More

When we drove into the street I wondered if I had made a mistake as it was rather dreary. I was not therefore prepared for the wonderful surprise when the door opened and we entered a, tastefully decorated home that was ablaze with sweet smelling candles. Our room was enormous, as was the bathroom, and I particularly like the fact... More

Don’t write reviews often but this was a lovely way to finish our trip to Germany and France. We arrived early at 3.00pm but Dani (the owner) let us drop off our cases before returning a couple of hours later after visiting some of the nearby battlefields. Located in a back street but close to town, a 7 minute walk... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in June and were delighted by this spacious and well-appointed B&B. The previous description is accurate and in effect 'says it all' - but I would like to highlight everything from the beautifully furnished, clean and luxurious accommodation to the ample breakfast and warm welcome extended by the owners (who even... We recently spent two nights at Le Pourquoi Pas. The Taupe room was very comfortable with a large ensuite bathroom. Breakfasts each day were delicious with fresh fruit, yoghurt and homemade preserves. This B and B is situated on a quiet street but within walking distance of the old city and many restaurants. The hosts obviously take a lot of... More

Based on trip advisor reviews we booked a night here on our way back to Calais from the Loire valley. Its not exaggerated- this place is lovely and 1 night wasn't enough. We fully intend to go back just to stay again and see Arras properly. I have never seen such an amazing breakfast spread even in a 4 star... More

If, like us, you travel from bucolic France and onto Arras the urban density of this city may be a little overwhelming! Indeed our first instinct was to keep on driving, but given the late hour and the fact that we had a booking - we pulled up outside Le Pourquoi Pas and rang the bell only to be greeted... More

We stayed at this lovely b & b about 10 minutes easy walk from the station in May. We used Arras as a base to do a tour of the battlefields. Dany and Luc were so helpful and very welcoming. The room and bathroom were lovely. Breakfast was served in the dining room and on the day we were leaving... More

We chose this B&B based solely on the reviews on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! Firstly if you want a beautiful French town to stay in that is only an hour away from the tunnel look no further, we were travelling from Scotland so this was perfect for our short three night stay. Arras has a lot to offer too,... More

Great b&b with people who really work hard to please. We don't speak French but we both worked hard on our language Lovely garden and breakfast, good access to downtown and quiet location, with large spacious rooms. They think of everything, such as hand lotion and soap for shower.
