Ideally situated opposite the Railway Station and a short walk to the centre. Smashing hotel, great rooms and very helpful staff. Could not fault it. Breakfast is fine and a fair price. Contact them direct for a deal!

Our party of four found this gem via the Tourist Information Office, booking two twin rooms (36 & 46), both with views across the square to the station. If you're visiting by train, this is the ideal place for you, but there is also plenty of local parking and the hotel offers a good daily rate at the nearby underground... More

This is a lovely and very French hotel. The rooms, compared to modern hotels are huge. The décor is a little bit tired but this adds to its charm. Very convenient location across the square from the railway station but still not excessively noisy. The staff were brilliant and all spoke good English. The only downside is that I wish they... We arrived earlier than intended as our journey was very smooth. We were immediately welcomed and one of the staff check d if either room was ready. One was and the other being cleaned. They immediately allowed us into the room that was ready and 10mins later equally helpful staff advised the other room was ready. Parking was very close... More

We were somewhat alarmed by some of the negative reviews of this hotel, but we found nothing to complain about. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with an enormous bed. The hotel has an early twentieth century charm, with art nouveau features throughout.. The corridors are a little tired, but the rooms and public areas are very clean. The... More

Arras was the last leg of this year's battle field tour and the accommodation was splendid at this hotel. Definitely recommend it: huge double and triple beds in a suite; nice restaurant for continental (only) breakfast and the staff were really nice. No parking at the hotel but you can get a token (for 8 euros) from the hotel and... More

Stayed here one night with 3 pals on our annual WW1 trip. Huge room (49 top floor) and piping hot water (although shower head was a bit knackered) and 2 huge double beds. More like a suite. Really quiet. Very nice staff. Breakfast was fine, but not special with no hot food offer other than boiled eggs and toast (hence... More

Stayed one night as part of a WW1 pilgrimage. Good location on a large square, opposite the main railway station but we were not disturbed by noise. Lovely large room with a huge bed. The hotel somewhat passed its prime but everything worked. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Ate in the hotel restaurant during the evening. Grilled tuna and... More

Great location if you are doing a tour of WWI battlefield sites. Stayed 3 nights in October 2014. Easy drive from Ypres, Belgium after Menin Gate last post. Expected a European style hotel and weren't disappointed. Close to train station so can be somewhat noisy but ask for a higher floor room. Can be described as 'faded grandeur' but clean... More
