Exceeded our expectations. Perfect location for a first time ski trip for our grandchildren and a plenty to do for the non skiers in the village. Very good value for money. An excellent alternative to the Alps.

Fantastic stay in a perfect location. Very clean rooms, well heated. Central to everything one could ask for ..supermarket, restaurants and pubs and ski rental equipment. The ski lifts only 5 minutes walk.

Perfect place to stay. Residence clean, well-run, quiet and well-positioned. Our "studio 4 personnes" was very quiet, well-heated and comfortable; lovely big bathroom. We were two grandparents with our 9yr old grandson who wanted to learn to snowboard. Residence well placed for food shopping, equipment rental and the village, and very close to the telecabines. Wifi service was not free,... More

Stayed at Residence Les Rives de l'Aure again this year. Whilst the complex is now looking a bit run down, it is still a good base for a winter holiday. The rooms offer self catering facilities, these are basic but adequate. Rooms and sleeping quantity is generally good. The location is generally quite with little noise at night. Internet works... Pierre et Vacances present the Rives de l'Aure as four star accommodation, and as far as the location is concerned that's certainly true. Less than five minutes walk from the town centre, the two main acess lifts to the ski slopes can easily be walked in about the same time. Access to the most convenient (the telecabine) involves a short... More

Decent, but tired apartment complex very close to the gondola. Rooms are adequate, if spartan, with uncomfortable beds. The 'baby kit' is a great help if you have a little one- they will supply a travel cot, high chair, stroller and changing mat. Staff at the hotel is very nican and helpful. The town is very quaint with great restaurants... More

Situated half way between the new telecabine and the older gondola lift these apartments are an easy walk to either. very good for family rooms (especially the apartment designed for families with a baby). Excellent reception staff - knowledgable and keen to help.
