The hotel is in the perfect situation for a stay in millau. Parking was easily available outside. The lady owner is courteous and helpful and speaks English well. We stayed in a courtyard room whichwas very practical...very French and overall very good value. Millau is beautiful

We stayed for one night as an en-route stop-over. The room was large and clean and the bathroom okay although rather tired. The lady owner was helpful and provided a continental breakfast which was absolutely fine, consisting of cereals, bread and croissants. Of interest is that the house was once lived in by the opera singer Emma Calvé (1858-1942) and... More

The host was extremely helpful and if she is the owner, then fine, otherwise they have an invaluable member of staff. Our room was fine an even though on the front street, traffic did not personally keep me awake. The room and bedding were clean as was the bathroom, but more bleach please! Breakfast was very good for the price... More

We stayed here for one night on our way through. The hotel is basic and simple. Our room in the court yard was very basic and poorly equipped with a very small bathroom and an uncomfortable bed. There is no A/C and only a small window above the french doors so I imagine it would be very hot in the... More

I booked four rooms at this hotel back in March based on reviews on TripAdvisor. I specifically requested the ground floor rooms facing the courtyard, and this request was agreed with the owner once again a few days before arrival. However, when we arrived for the 5.30pm check-in, we were told that the four courtyard rooms were no longer available!... More

My cousin & I stayed at the Hotel Emma Calve for one night in May during a trip to Millau especially to view the famous viaduct. I had booked the hotel on the strength of Trip Advisor reviews but have to say I felt very let down. The woman manager/owner was less than friendly on our arrival & her manner... More

Chose Emme Calve based on reviews here. Travelled with wife & another couple. The hotel did not live up to expectations. The rooms are small & tired. The bathrooms are particularly cramped. (Rooms 8 & 12). Breakfast is very basic. There is no bar. - This is the first hotel with no bar I've stayed at. There IS secure parking... More

This hotel offers friendly service and excellent value. The owner speaks perfect English which is very handy and couldn't be more helpful. Although the rooms are on the small side, they have good ensuite facilities. The hotel is close to the town centre and convenient for the shops and restrauants. The on street pay and display parking was no problem... More

I'm so glad that the local Campanile was full otherwise we would never have found this place. Arrived knackered after a long day's drive. The room was basic but the view from the small balcony was wonderful. Very friendly and hospitable staff. Excellent breakfast. Convenient for town centre but not so close as to be a disturbance. We are looking... More
