We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2010. We were met with a warm welcome by Peter and offered a welcome drink and lots of useful information about the local area. The villa itself is beautiful inside, high ceilings, huge windows and a beautifully furnished. The rooms were amazing too, we stayed in a deluxe room - it was... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 10 day holiday in the South of France, having never been to the area before we decided to stay at the Villa De Mazamet after reading the reviews. All I can say is that they are so right! Mazamet itself is fairly centrally located for viewing Carcassonne, Narbonne and the South... More

Paul-Lincolnshire 9 of us from our village wine-tasting society made our own way through France and met up at LVDM for 2 days of relaxation and a wine-tasting evening. We were all bowled over by the beautiful rooms and the attention to details. Our meal on the first night was excellent and got us off to a good start. On... More

Absolutely wonderful five days in La Villa. Accommodation first rate and comfortable, unlike our clothes after eating Peter’s gourmet cooking. Total celebration of all the senses, a dream you did not want to end. Mark & Peter totally outshine any five star hotel, and I have worked in a couple of them, by their consistent attention to detail and their... More

We went with the intention of relaxing for the whole week and that is what we did. Peter and Mark were brilliant hosts and made you most welcome. The Villa is superb, well equipped and furnished to a high standard throughout. Peter is a talented chef and we dined in every night, so experienced his full repertoire of meals which... More

We spent 2 delightful nights at Villa Mazamet. Peter and Mark were wonderful hosts - extremely friendly, helpful and professional in their approach. The Villa is beautifully appointed - large, stylish rooms with large en suite bathrooms. There are 2 communal rooms on the ground floor for reading, board games (and pre-dinner drinks). Breakfast was simple but very well executed.... More

Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Hosts very friendly and helpful, creating the feeling of staying with old friends. The house and gardens are stylish and luxurious throughout. Plenty of opportunity to explore the historical towns or relax by the pool or even have a massage.

We spent a few nights with the two superb hosts, Mark and Peter. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is very relaxed, very stylish, and the food is as good as any we have experienced. The swimming pool is a nice size for relaxing, and 'Le petite Spa' combined with the therapy... More

These two have their business concept down to the 'T' while being approachable, open and very charming hosts - the guest house displays professionalism in every aspect while having an immensely homely feel. We had to postpone our booking twice, which was met with genuine and very accommodating understanding. When we finally managed to reach Mazamet, we were welcomed with... More

Mark and Peter have created an oasis of quality and style in this quiet corner of south west France. Every aspect of our stay at the villa exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to all our friends. We felt like very welcome friends rather than paying guests. The house and gardens have been restored to... More
