We were so glad our friends had stayed here and recommended this villa. They told us how wonderful it was, but our experience far exceeded our expectations. The villa is located on a quiet street and they have a beautiful property...parking is easy. Mark and Peter are gracious and amazing hosts. Our experience even started before we arrived. They sent... Our third time visit to La Villa and luck is just not the issue - it is the perfect place to stay. It really is not luck but the perfection of Mark and Peter's incredible 'hosting'. They get the mix of guest attention, friendliness, local knowledge and quiet detailed organisation behind the scenes just right. With only eight rooms the... More

John and I stayed at the Villa in late September, the appeal of a 1930`s Villa was too good an opportunity to miss and, after wandering around what we felt was a rather bleak and uninteresting town, we found this Oasis of delight, tucked down a side street. It was a joy from start to finish, we were welcomed very... More

Staying in the Villa Mazamet was an hollistic experience, leaving you astonished by the perfect response given to every aspect of a tourist's expectations (ours, at least). The hotel is situated in a quiet street, where parking is safe and available. True to its name, it is a beautifuly renovated French villa surrounded by a beautiful garden. Our room (#1)... More

The first thing you will notice is the sound, there are very few. La Villa is close enough to the town to make access easy, but just far enough out that you could almost hear a pin drop. This makes it perfect to escape the stress and rigours of the "real world". Mark and Peter are clearly very proud of... More

From the moment you arrive it feels like you are staying with old friends. Mark and Peter really go above and beyond to make sure your time in Mazamet is perfect. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The perfect combination of cosey B&B and up market hotel really means that Villa Mazamet offers everything you need. The house itself... More

We both had a fantastic 3 night stay at Villa de Mazamet, it couldn't have been more perfect. Peter and Mark have a wonderful eye for detail and it made the stay so special! The hotel itself, the room and the meals were fantastic. You really don't need to go anywhere else for dinner, the food is of such a... More

Beautifully renovated French house set in its own private grounds, the hosts Peter and Mark are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. They have put together a number of self drive tours allowing you to make the most of your stay and the local area. The food is of excellent quality so you don't need to go anywhere else if you... Mark and Peter are kind, welcoming, attentive and efficient hosts. They have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble for them. Their hard work, dedication and attention to detail in the restoration of this beautiful 'maison de maitre' is apparent the moment you step through the lovely gates. The bedrooms are ALL very stylish and beautifully appointed, with... More

We still rate it the best B & B in France. Our third stay at the 5 star Villa and we always feel so spoilt coming here. The host's Peter and Mark make you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing with imaginative healthy breakfast's and excellent evening meals/plus local wines - worthy of...
