Had a superb cycling holiday climbing several of the nearby mountains. Secure storage for the bikes. Really comfortable accommodation for after the cycling plus laundry service. Excellent home cooked food and enjoyed that mike came out with us on the first days ride as well. Thanks

If you want to explore the famous cols of the Pyrenees, this is the place to stay. High quality accommodation, bike maintenance/storage, airport transfers, supported rides and great homemade food all at a very reasonable price. Mike and Annette are great hosts who know the area inside out and made sure that our stay went without a hitch. Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel is second to none for Luchon. You cann walk to all the restaurants and bars in town in 2 minutes. If you are there to ski in the winter months then the ski lift is about a 5 minute walk away. Hosts are originally from UK so no langauge barrier. Breakfast was a delight !!... More

Lovely villa just a stones throw from the centre of the delightful spa town of Luchon. Hosts Mike and Annette were charming and every little detail has been taken care of here. Our room, and adjoining bathroom were beautifully appointed, bright, airy and spotlessly clean. Beds felt luxurious and we slept very peacefully! There is an elegant and comfortable guest... More

we were so impressed with Villa Portillion. It is in the midst of the small but bustling town, Luchon, and handy to everything. We could walk to the main street in just a minute or two to enjoy the restaurants, bars, shopping and exploring. We didn't have enough time to see all we wanted in Luchon and the area so... More

Luchon is an alpine town with amazing views and incredible amenities for cyclists, skiers, walkers. Villa Portillion is like a beautiful rock pool in a tucked away place within this Oasis. We have visited Annette and Mike three time now since 2008. Each trip for a cycling holiday. We now see them as friends. They could not have done more... More

Mike and Annette treat you as one of the family. The rooms are clean, very comfortable and all have lovely views. You don't HAVE to be sporty or fit to stay in Luchon. There's lots to see and do without donning lycra or skis! Annette is also a good cook if you wish to eat in. We loved our stay... More

We recently spent a week at Villa Portillon while on a family skiing holiday in Luchon. We were a mixed ability group with skiers and non-skiers in our party. We were very lucky with the snow conditions but it was our stay at Villa Portillon that made the trip memorable. The location, as often mentioned in other reviews, is ideal.... More

We recently stayed at Villa Portillon for the second time. We had a short ski break and we would highly recommend a stay here. The accommodation is of a superior standard with en suite facilities in some rooms. The extras make the difference, bathrobes, hairdryers, free wi-fi...The accommodation is across the road from the lift station. We hired a car... More

We are a group of two families with 4 teenage children between us, and have recently returned from a ski holiday over New Year 2012/13 at Villa Portillon in Luchon with Mike and Annette. We had a fantastic time. Luchon is an old picturesque spa town with lots of little bars, restaurants and quaint little shops and boutiques. Villa Portillon... More
