The hotel itself is starting to show its age, but all in all is still an architectural stunner. Rooms are elegant with very subtle tones and clean lines. We booked the room a step up from the basic one, so I'm not sure how big the basic rooms are.. but our Space of Aubrac room was massive and had a... More

We first came here a few years ago with French friends and the incredibly high standards have been maintained. Eight of us this time. This is a very special place. I would recommend that you stay if you can rather than just come for dinner as breakfast is also quite superb plus after such amazing dinner you really won't want... More

Ultra modern hotel stylishly integrated into the beautiful surroundings, our room had the most stunning views over the valley and a large terrace to sit out on! The bed was possibly the most comfortable I and my wife have ever slept in! The room service was exceptional especially the delightful maid serving breakfast in our room. A fitting place to... More

It is not often that you walk into a hotel and go "wow" but this was one of those hotels. Beautiful modern almost zen like modern rooms with amazing alpine like views. A special place. Then when you are ready for a truly special meal go to the dining room and get ready to eat some amazing food.

This hotel, associated with a three star MIchelin restaurant is located on the top of a high hill with a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. It has been carefully designed to meld into its environment. Each room has an end glass wall that opens up to a small patio surrounded by wild flowers and lavender. The premises have everything... For a start, I was not expecting how utterly beautiful the Aubrac would ultimately be. As an American, it's just not a part of France we hear very much about. I'm not sad, because it's hardly overrun with tourists and a bit of a drive to reach. But it was stunning. So were both our dinner and stay at Michel... More

What a setting, on a hill overlooking the rolling hills of the Aubrac ! Just a 5min drive from Laguiole. Our room, Suite No. 3, matched the breathtaking view. Living room with a view, huge bathroom with sep. shower, bedroom and the dressing. All modern and spacious. So what happen that it is not 5 stars ? Just small things,... More

After an amazingly beautiful 4 hours drive from Lyon thru one of the most remote but stunning region of France, we finally arrived at the hotel. The sun was just about to set when we were shown our rooms. The rooms have been refurbished 4 years ago. There are only 13 rooms all facing the most beautiful view or the... More

All I can say is "wow." After driving 5 hours from the Vaucluse through the gorgeous mountainside and rolling country hills to reach our destination, pulling up to Bras felt like something out of a dream. The contrast of the modern, minimalist interior and exterior decor with the largely untouched Laguiole terrain was surreal. Service at the hotel and restaurant... More

To stay here and eat at the restaurant is an event. Although a little difficult to find, the distinct silhouette of "Bras" juts out on top of a hill which delivers beautiful views. Sometimes expectation leads to disappointment, however not in this case. Our room was beautifully appointed, the free mini bar was a class touch and the backpack, a... More
