Everyone associated with the hotel really made us feel welcome and relaxed in this beautiful hotel and village in the pyrenees. A big thanks to all of you for making our holiday comfortable and enjoyable as possible. A definite big thumbs up from us, keep up the good work and good luck in the future! More

We have just returned from a weeks skiing in Cauterets, and stayed at Mulcares, what a great place, relaxing, comfortable, fab views and a balcony right on the river. It was our first time skiing as a family all together, and Ruth and Louise were so helpful in ensuring that we hired the correct equipment and booked the correct lessons.... More

Recently returned from a skiing holiday staying in the large Ardiden apartment at Mulcares. we've stayed here during Summer too and it's equally good during both seasons. Our 5 year old loves raiding the toys in the communal lounge and playing with the host's young children. Apartments are excellent with classy IKEA furniture. The river runs right by the house... We chose Cauterets for our Skiing destination as, not only is it really easy to get to from Stansted (just a quick flight to Lourdes then a bus or a 30 min taxi ride to the town) but it still retains a classic French feel, with excellent restaurants and cosy wine bars. It is lovely to find a place where... More

Stylish and wonderfully equipped appartments. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, James, Ruth and Louise. With two little children holidays can be alot of effort but our hosts did everything to make sure our stay was comfortable. Cauteret gave us tons of snow in our first two days! and even though we weren't snowboarding because of the children... More

Muclares is a sweet find in the pristine town, Cauterets, in the Pyrenees. You can't beat Muclares for location, value, and easy of use. My husband and I have visited Cauterets the last three summers and plan to go back 2012. We have stayed at Muclares every time and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Louise, Ruth, and James could not... More

Such a beautiful place to stay and relax in the Pyrenees! We stayed in Viscos for 4 nights. The check in process was so easy. We had all the information we needed before we arrived. The apartment was perfect for my husband and I. It had everything we needed. Plenty of space to make ourselves at home. The view from... More

Finding a holiday destination that ticks all boxes for two adults and two teenage children can be a fairly tall order, and for us it is difficult to imagine anywhere coming closer than Mulcares in the Pyrenees. Amongst our particular wishes was to enjoy the mountain landscape, and we found a well signposted network of paths to take you as... More

Cauteret is situated at the best of the most beautuful valleys in the Pyrenees. The walks around and from the town are simply fantastic and cover all basis in terms of challenges e.g. valley walks or tacking 3000m peaks. The studio we stayed in was really nice and well kitted out the bathroom in particular was spot on. We also... More
