We stayed a few nights in Mulcares and it was quite pleasant. Our room was Viscos and it was basic, but well appointed and comfortable for 2 people for a few nights. Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is in the heart of Cauterets, only a few minutes walk to a wonderful bakery... More

All apartments have balcony overlooking the river. Very well equipped small apartment right in the town, quiet (apart from the river!). The set of apartments has a Welcome room where you can get lots of info about things to do and the owners are available there quite a lot to give advice. Cauterets is a perfect place to explore the... More

We spent the last week of July in the Ariden appartment and had a thoroughly enjoyable family break. We were looking for somewhere with a bit more to do than just your standard gite with a pool type holiday and the location in Cauteret did not disappoint. With two cildren (aged 9 and 7) we found numerous outdoor activities to... More

We have just returned from a fantastic week long holiday in Cauterets and feel as though our batteries have been fully recharged. Cauterets is a really friendly and beautiful town that still feels very French. It was the perfect base for us to enjoy fabulous walks and also to relax. The town has some great shops selling local speciality foods... More

We absolutely loved our stay in the Pyrenees and can see how during the peak of seasons Cauterets would be a buzzing place. Early - mid June is between seasons so the risk is many eateries are shut and taking their own holidays. However the reason for staying in Cauterets is not Cauterets but rather the things to see and... More

At arrival there was nobody of the team present. We stayed in the appartment Ardiden, this appartment is downstairs, has only 3 doors with daylight. À very dark appartment, wich is not mentioned at the site. It was said, that every week witthin a stay of more than One week, the towels and bedlinen woud be changed. After 9 days... More

We are sorry and a little surprised to read your comments as from our conversations with you during your 3 week stay with us we understood that you were happy with your apartment and the service we provided. We are a little confused by your comment regarding the change of bed linen and towels. As usual for guests who stay... More

Mulcares in the Pyrenees is the perfect family location, the apartment was immaculate and had everything one could possibly need. The attention to detail and comfort was lovely and the pride the owners share for their property really shines through.Tea and cake in the lovely communal lounge with the owners was an unexpected treat, they are really knowledgable about the... We have just returned from a weeks skiing in Cauterets, and stayed at Mulcares, what a great place, relaxing, comfortable, fab views and a balcony right on the river. It was our first time skiing as a family all together, and Ruth and Louise were so helpful in ensuring that we hired the correct equipment and booked the correct lessons.... More

Recently returned from a skiing holiday staying in the large Ardiden apartment at Mulcares. we've stayed here during Summer too and it's equally good during both seasons. Our 5 year old loves raiding the toys in the communal lounge and playing with the host's young children. Apartments are excellent with classy IKEA furniture. The river runs right by the house...
