The Arrieulat rooms are functional and pretty basic, but spacious enough. The hotel is clearly geared up to the outdoor traveller, with good facilities such as a small pool and spa room as well as a games room. The restaurant forms part of the lobby and this is a hidden gem. With an open kitchen the restaurant delivered a completely... More

Put me down as another cyclist who thinks this place is great. The rooms were comfy and quiet. Convenient bike storage. Friendly cat in the yard. All good. What puts this 2-star place above the rest are Stephane and Cecile. Both very friendly from arrival to departure. I got a kick out of Stephane and his kitchen staff going out... More

The Hotel is rated as 2 stars and it's pretty much that but in the good side. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. The restaurant is pretty good but a little expensive to eat at every night. The one issue I had here was that the cleaning staff would just walk straight into the room while we were... More

On arrival, the owner came out to welcome us and offered the use of the hot tub, which was taken up by several of our group. The restaurant was not officially open on a Sunday, but Stephane and Cecile cooked an unbelievable meal for our party of 12 people. The hotel was very homely and we were made to feel... More

Just had our 3rd stay. Really enjoyed the relaxed ambiance of Arrieulat once again. Rooms are simple with rustic (but new) decor & very clean. Cecil & Stepane are most helpful & friendly. The restaurant is by far the best in the area & could compete with any top restaurant in Paris or London

My wife and I, from Australia, have driven through the Pyrenees several times over the past 10 years and this hotel is without a doubt the most comfortable and friendly we have stayed in, with the added advantage of an extremely good location from which to visit all the attractions of the Haute Pyrenees by car, and good car parking.... This was a gem of a place. The owner Stéphane was so friendly, kind and generous with his time, lending us equipment and heating baby food. The hotel is located a very short walk from Argeles-Gazost village centre where there are lots of places to eat but the hotel restaurant (he is the chef too) is excellent (more suited to grown... I am an avid cyclist and have been coming to France for the past consecutive 10 years to cycle the famous cols of the Pyrenees with various groups of friends. Since discovering the Arriuelat 6 years ago I will never stay anywhere else. Steohane and Cecile are the most wonderfull hosts and the hotel facilities have been improving each year... More

This was my third stay at L'Arrieulat Hotel and I can only say that the experience is getting better and better. The hotel amentities have been improved greatly over the last few years and the rooms feel fresh and clean, the spa and sauna are great after tackling the cols and Stefan is a wonderful, inventive chef whose meals never... Early July 3 day cycling holiday with 3 other lads (tourmalet etc). Arrived mid-Sunday and due to accidental damage in transit, 2 of the 4 bikes were unusable, and we couldn't find any hire or repair shops open on a Monday (common closed day). The owner turned out to be a lovely bloke and really showed a lot of sympathy,... More
