We travelled as a group of 25 cyclists in September 2015. This small hotel is a great surprise. The rooms are comfortable. The quality of evening meal is excellent and is to be commended. Stéphane (hotelier) was extremely hospitable and even loaned one of the group, his bike wheels, while repairs were carried out. All very good value and centrally... More

Visited as a group of 8 cyclists. The hotel is comfortable, nice rooms, good ( but expensive) food. The family that run the place perhaps need to smile more, and remember that it is a hotel, and hotels are there for guests. If we stayed here again we would stay elsewhere.

We feel like we struck gold staying at this hotel. We stayed 3 nights to explore the area where Argeles-Gazost was the first town before the fork in the road to either the Cirque De Gavarnie or Pont du L'Espange as the two main natural attractions we wanted to visit in the area for walking. The hotel and rooms are... More

My wife, son and I enjoyed the hospitality very much. The hotel as a bicycle garage which is very convenient. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The hosts are very warm and friendly. We stayed during a particularly hot time of the year. The hotel did not have air conditioning, but was still comfortable with a room fan.

Biking: tons of route options from Argeles. The hotel has a bike storage locker and a great back-yard for post ride beers and hanging out. Food: they deserve a Michelin Star. Dinner is 5 courses and each of the 4 nights we were there we were amazed at the taste and attention to detail that went into the meals. Is... More

The Arrieulat rooms are functional and pretty basic, but spacious enough. The hotel is clearly geared up to the outdoor traveller, with good facilities such as a small pool and spa room as well as a games room. The restaurant forms part of the lobby and this is a hidden gem. With an open kitchen the restaurant delivered a completely... More

Put me down as another cyclist who thinks this place is great. The rooms were comfy and quiet. Convenient bike storage. Friendly cat in the yard. All good. What puts this 2-star place above the rest are Stephane and Cecile. Both very friendly from arrival to departure. I got a kick out of Stephane and his kitchen staff going out... More

The Hotel is rated as 2 stars and it's pretty much that but in the good side. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. The restaurant is pretty good but a little expensive to eat at every night. The one issue I had here was that the cleaning staff would just walk straight into the room while we were... More

On arrival, the owner came out to welcome us and offered the use of the hot tub, which was taken up by several of our group. The restaurant was not officially open on a Sunday, but Stephane and Cecile cooked an unbelievable meal for our party of 12 people. The hotel was very homely and we were made to feel... More

Just had our 3rd stay. Really enjoyed the relaxed ambiance of Arrieulat once again. Rooms are simple with rustic (but new) decor & very clean. Cecil & Stepane are most helpful & friendly. The restaurant is by far the best in the area & could compete with any top restaurant in Paris or London
