The hotel is charming, but looks better on the pics. The problem is that the hotel stinks!! If you don´t like cat pee, consider NOT staying there, because it´s the smell you´ll have to bare! more

this place was superb, a beautiful old building, delightful hosts. No lifts but the setting and the rooms made up for that. Bathrooms were really good, separate toilet. We stayed at the L'Atelier in September 2006, in the delightful little suburb of Villeneuve les Avignon. The hotel is easy to find just over the River Rhone from Avignon, though parking spaces in the narrow streets around the hotel are limited.
