Superb and attentive staff. Due to a missed connecting flight, instead of arriving at the hotel at a decent hour (around 8P) we arrived after midnight. There was someone there waiting for us who even though his English was non-existent (as was my French) we were able to communicate; he took us to our room, helped w/the luggage, showed us... More

This hotel is not only beautiful with a lovely heritage, it is a quiet, peaceful spot of luxury. Having your meals under 250-year-old plane trees in the garden was a pleasure. The food was of a high standard. The pool was an added bonus. We parked on the premises which can be a problem in many hotels in France. I... More

We were staying at the hotel and asked for a table for dinner that was rudely denied. We are full, Monsieur. Then we went for a drink, the restaurant was half empty and they just dumped our drinks and never came back! That is not what we expect with these prices. Many better placed around to dump your euros. Alas!... More

We loved this hotel, on previous visits to Avignon we have stayed in the city but we now realise that this is the place to be if you want to be totally relaxed. We ate for two nights in the garden restaurant and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere,a little tip, make sure you book for your evening meal... More

Most everything about this hotel is beautiful, elegant and upscale. Even the seemingly perpetual chirping of the mating cicadas became relaxing and welcome. The entrance is august and pretty, the check-in desk is elegant, the fact that they attach your key to a golf-ball (to advertise their relationship to a near-by golf course) is entertaining, the fact that the key... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villeneuve les Avignon and that is partly because this is a very nice hotel. Our room has a large terrace overlooking the back garden and outside dining area. In addition to it's size, the amenities were very nice and the A/C really worked! We slept great. Breakfast was very good. Dinner at the hotel... More

This hotel has the potential to be what the pictures make you think it is. The garden in the back is beautiful, the rooms clean and spacious, the surrounding neighborhood is quaint and charming, what can possibly be wrong? Well for one, almost every single employee has no clue what they are doing. First night my wife and I decided... More

Nice building and grounds. The pool was nice. Unfortunately our first room at ground level reeked of mold in the bathroom. The person who led us to the room knew about it because he had left the door open before we arrived. Fortunately we were switched to another room for the next two nights and that was much better (though... More

Very picturesque, quality hotel with delightful garden/restaurant setting. We were greeted with a warm welcome at the front desk and found staff to be always helpful and ready to accommodate. We had a very large room with big terrace overlooking the pool. Extremely quiet at night and with a king size bed we slept soundly every night. Heaps of wardrobe... More

We like this hotel - great position outside Avignon, lovely gardens and friendly staff. Price was reasonable for the room but we thought that the dinner & breakfast looked expensive so went out to eat.
