We booked this hotel for a spring trip to Provence and could not have been happier. The hotel is charming, clean, and comfortable, is located in a quiet part of town not far from the highway (making it an ideal location to explore Provence!) and was priced quite reasonably. What makes this hotel stand out, however, is the staff. "Maylis"... More

A delightful place to enjoy some peace and quiet. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and a delicious, reasonably-priced breakfast. And a very pleasant back garden to sit out and read. If there is one criticism it is that room was very stuffy at night, but other than that extremely good.

We were over the moon with this charming Hotel and could not have asked for more. So much charm and character, spotlessly clean and run by lovely friendly people. Aperitifs in the courtyard was an absolute delight and was one of the highlights of our week long journey to the South. Villeneuve les Avignons is also charming. We loved our... More

Situated in the centre of the small town and an eight minute bus ride from Avignon, L'Atelier is a great find. The rooms are individual, well decorated and comfortable. The service is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. It is great value for money.

When coming to Avignon your first thoughts come of Hotel De l'Atelier. The Hotel has changed ownership undergoing many improvements in the process. It is a small tradititional family hotel with lovely features. Breakfast is included in your booking fee. One can access tea, coffee and fruit at ones leisure all day. The owner and manager are very accomodating and... More

We stayed with friends in Lyon who took us by car to visit Avignon with an overnight stop. They found this hotel on Tripadvisor and were impressed by the reviews. It certainly was a lovely little hotel - cosy, historic, intimate and comfortable with a welcoming atmosphere. The young English-speaking proprietor Stefan is rightly proud of his hotel. He was... We arrived in Avignon and decided that the city was too busy and not the idyllic setting we had in mind. The Office of Tourism suggested this hotel, among a few others and we drove off to see it. It was perfect and just what we were looking for, the owner was so very helpful and attentive. We had breakfast... More

This great find was ideal for us. Stefan was very kind and helpful and gave great recommendations on places to eat. There was a bus stop at the end of the road which took you straight the the gate into the old city in Avignon. Hotel de l'Atelier was surrounded by beautiful old buildings made out of Sandstone which gave... More
