Stephane and his team of lovely ladies are superb. It has been a pleasure to return and God willing it will not be my last visit. This time I had a larger room with the luxury of a 3/4 bath, which for one who does a fair bit of walking was appreciated for a soak. This is a totally relaxing... More

We stayed overnight in Villeneuve-lez-Avignon before moving on to Avignon proper. The hotel is ideally situated and the building is simply lovely--a former linen factory with a back terrace whose setting hinted at the joys to be experienced during a spring or summer stay. Stephane, the host, was very welcoming and we enjoyed practicing our (limited) French with him. The... More

We booked this hotel because it was 'boutique', was close to the old town of Avignon and had parking available. All I can say is, we weren't let down with our expectations. On arrival, we were greeted by the proprietor Stephane. From that moment on, he couldn't do enough for us. Stephane was happy to offer advice on local restaurants,... More

Thank you so much for your kind and detailed comment and of course for your stay. We were glad to welcome you specially during the rugby world cup... which New Zealand deserved to win. More

Four of us stayed here for three nights, and had a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Stefan, the proprietor, is very friendly & personable and his advice about places to see and local restaurants to use was invaluable. Accommodation was clean and cosy, and we enjoyed the complimentary tea and biscuits available in the foyer each day, very nice! Great central location... More

Stayed here for a week while I attended a workshop. There were 12 of us in the group, and the hotel staff was really helpful and friendly. My room was small but cozy, and it had a nice view of the garden patio. Breakfast was included, although it did not offer any hot items such as eggs. The wifi was... More

Wonderful staff, superb breakfast selection and based in a truly traditional old building (but with well turned out rooms). Spent 3 heavenly nights here and didn't want to leave. The garden and patio is beautiful, and based in sleepy Villeneuve it's a truly relaxing experience. Highly recommend.

Parking was tricky as there is no parking close by. We had to leave the hire car in what appeared to be a community parking area. Once at the hotel, which is A beautiful old building decorated very tastefully these problems fade away as you relax in the beautiful courtyard. We had our meal with us yet reception set a... More

Travelled around Europe for six weeks in August to September of this year staying at many hotels and this hotel rated in our top three - absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself is 300-400 years old and beautifully restored - the essence of Provence - everyone was extremely helpful and kind. Also the location is beautiful set in the heart of... More

I came across this hotel on one of the booking sites while researching a trip to Provence and once I found their web site, I thought I had discovered a hidden gem. I was mainly looking for a hotel outside the city since my sister and I planned to have a rental car but this promised to be a lovely... More

This small hotel is a GEM. Full of character and quirkiness, it is the height of French ruggedness. The patron, Stefan is a charming young man and he goes out of his way to be helpful. Mayliss is a good substitute. There is no lift but the stairs keep you fit especially after the simple but more than adequate b'fast.... More
