This is now my favorite hotel in Europe - I can't imagine a more delightful stay anywhere. Photos of the castle (including ours) don't begin to do it justice; the building, grounds and riverside setting (with cliffs rising on all sides) are absolutely gorgeous. Our room wasn't huge but it was certainly spacious enough, warm and cozy, and beautifully furnished... More

If you go here and you are white knuckle about drives that plunge into gorges, then take the road from la Canourge via Malene, not via St Enimie, it is far less terrifying, especially in a right hand drive car. The place is polished and charming and our room, in an annex about 100m from main hotel, was exquisite and... More

Stunning location next to a river and set in the gorge - this Chateau was wonderful. Although we stayed in one of the suite rooms located in the annexe (rather than a Chateau room) this was a better choice for us. Our large suite had a wonderful terrace overlooking the gorge and gardens - just perfect. We ate in the... More

We have now had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Chateau on four occasions over the last three years, as a couple, with friends and with family which includes young grandchildren. We have always been welcomed very warmly and indeed after our first visit greeted by Sandrine like an old friend. On two of the visits we have organised... More

We were really looking forward to staying here based on other reviews - it was to be the highlight of our holiday as it's not cheap and it sounded superb. There's no doubting that the location is fantastic and the chateau is stunning to look at too. The check-in was easy and welcoming although I did notice vases of dead... More

What a disappointment! It really is a tragedy that this incredible chateau, that is situated in such a magical place, is so poorly managed. The drive to the hotel is breathtaking into the heart of the Gorges Du Tarn and about 10km from the lovely village of St Enimie. The view overlooking the Tarn river and facing the sensational gorge... More

My husband and I stayed at the Chateau de la Caze for three nights during a recent trip to France. The Chateau was even better than we had anticipated. We were in the Jacquette room which has its bath in a turret. The room was spacious with antique furniture and a view on the Tarn and the hotel gardens. Although... More

The chateau was perfect. We had one of the less expensive smaller rooms which was charming. Bed large enough for two tall people. Huge bathtub with handheld shower and quality amenities. The owners had a friendly black lab so we felt right at home. The food was superb. One of my favorite restaurants on this trip. The perfect french dining... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in September last year. Although not cheap, it was well worth it if you want a romantic location. The castle is situated in the narrow tarn gorge and is right next to the tarn river. We were on the 3rd floor in the Melchior suite which had its own terrace and beutiful... More
