From the moment you set eyes on this place as you drive down towards the draw bridge it ouzes its cahracter. The named greeting as you walk in always impresses, and the great service just went on throughout our short stay, which by the way sometime ago. However i dream of going back to this enchanting place again very soon... More

We had a fabulous stay at the Chateau la Caze. We stayed in Emilie and over looked the pool. Breakfast was brought to our room where we enjoyed the sun coming up over the gorge valley walls and the mist rising off the river. Dinners were superb, although a changing menu would have assisted in the selection of fare. Drinks... More

If you long to be a princess for a night then stay here. Ok so the drive to this magical chateau IS scary; there are bends you cannot see beyond; warning signs of falling rocks; narrow roads that will seemingly only fit one vehicle will have you holding your breath in and perilous drops will have you looking away from... It felt like we were transported back to the Middle Ages living in a castle. The chateau was extremely beautiful and offered all the amenities of the modern times in the setting of a time gone by. The rooms were right out of a story book with beautiful wood, stone, and stained glass. The staff was very accommodating in providing... More

This is without doubt the loveliest spot along the spectacularly lovely Gorges du Tarn. The hotel offers 16 rooms (10 in the castle, 6 in the Martine garden annex) and has a south-west facing terrace and garden - the latter also featuring a heated pool and jacuzzi. The management and staff are universally welcoming and courteous and the restaurant offers... More

We left ourselves too long a drive through the Gorges du Tarn in darkness and arrived late - but we were still greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the owners, reception staff and waiters, who happily seated us for a 9pm dinner. If the castle looked spectacular in the evening mist, luminescent against the soaring rocks behind, the views from... More

Yes, this is expensive but it was worth every penny (or Euro). We had 6 nights here as part of a 2 week 2,500 mile tour of France. If I wanted to be I could be very picky but that would not do justice to the chateau and its wonderful staff. Set in the Gorges du Tarn right next to... More

Looking at previous reviews, I think everything good has been said about this place and I endorse everyone's comments. This was a good find and wished we had had more time to enjoy this lovely old Hotel The castle has been beautifully restored and in one corner turret, paintings and murals going back centuries have been discovered and the art,... We stayed at this Chateau as part of a road trip from Lyon to Spain incorporating a mix of camping and hotels. So we picked this one as it looked pretty special, which it was. It is situated at the bottom of the gorge on the river bank, with a lovely pool, gym and hot tub. We had the Jacquette... More

Had a great stay at the Chateau. What an amazing place. It wasn't cheap but everyone was super friendly and helpful. Nice pool, hot tub. arranged a canoe trip from the river at their location. Restaurant was the only disappointment. It was expensive and after an hour after ordering we still did not have our main dish, and the food... More
