“Basic but well located”

Stayed for first 2 nights of touring holiday here, becasue it was near Montepllier airport and cheap, and well situated for Agde, Cap d'Agde (resort and golf course). Breakfast was very simple, room a bit basic with luke warm as opposed to piping hot water. But location was very good.

If you want to stay in the old city of Agde there does not seem to be much choice! We initially checked out a nearby hotel recommended in guidebooks, which seemed to have taken a distinct turn for the worse since the recommendations were written. My wife, sister and brother-in-law stayed as part of our cycle ride from Toulouse down the Canal-du-Midi to Sete. The hotel is part of the City Walls (Castle) and is beautifully 'French' in decor with high ceilings and a wonderful 'salon'.
