Arrived at this apartment with my wife for intended one week stay. Made our way up to our room on 5th floor via lift. The room was filthy. Doors hanging off wardrobe. Cupboards full of dirt. There had even been a fire in the bathroom at the wall heater and the ceiling was still black with smoke damage. We obviously complained and were moved to a room across the hallway. This room has a view over the 'secure' carpark. We watched local children climb into the carpark and check every car out . We watched them throw stones into the carpark at the cars. On the second night we again watched these persons throw stones into the carpark where our car was parked at a cost of 7€ per night until a windscreen was smashed. People walking past the carpark from the direction of the pubs at the harbour used the carpark gates as a toilet. There were broken bottles outside the hotel the next morning and the smell of urine was disgusting. We complained to the staff and left after two days, never to... more
