I have stayed at Manoir les Menestrels twice this year while renovating a house in a nearby village, and found it an absolute delight. Hanne and Horst could not have been more welcoming, and the house itself is, as the earlier reviewer said, like something out of a French film.
Hanne offered dinner every night using delicious products from the region, and the relaxed atmosphere as we sat chatting in the dining room was one of life's lovely moments. This was capped only by eating breakfast of fresh croissant bought from the bakery at Espondeilhan that morning and drinking great coffee while gazing out of the French doors to the garden, the vines beyond and the hills in the distance. It doesn't get much better. more
