we asked for a quiet room but as 'The Londoner' nightclub is only just around the corner and open at weekends from midnight to 5 a.m. there is considerable noise from there in the streets. Staff are great, also location (it faces the Galeries Lafayettes department store) but the rooms are tired, feel old and there was an odd smell... More

Located very close to the old part of town, you can walk to most places of interest in Beziers. Rooms are small and with 3 of us there was just enough space to move around the beds. Bathroom small but sufficient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt that an extra 11 euro each for breakfast was a bit... More

3 out 4 beds were very comfortable. All bedding very clean. Rooms were a bit dingy and seemed like they might be dirty, but upon closer inspection were perfectly clean! Carpets seemed new. Would have appreciated a tea kettle in the room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Beziers was going to be a problem. Each hotel looked worse than the next. Went for this one because "the people were nice". Be prepared for a shock when you arrive. Looks like a Romanian boarding house from the communist days. BUT the room was clean. Don't expect any help dragging cases upstairs , the lift doesn't go all the... More

We had arrived late at night after attending a wedding, but the staff had been kind enough to wait for us. They had also blocked off a parking space near the hotel where we could park. There is a lovely courtyard where you take breakfast. As others have mentioned, it's an easy walk to see the sights, or to go... More

Used this hotel for an overnight and booked through Ryanair. The hotel is very basic, but clean and comfortable with air con and en-suite, close to the centre (like a couple of hundred metres). Only offers B&B but loads of restaurants nearby (See my review on Restaurant Le XVIII). The staff at reception were absolutely fantastic and so helpful, especially... More

We arrived in Beziers from Bristol on Sunday afternoon but unfortunately the hotel does not allow check in before 6pm on Sunday so had to lug our cases around for three hours until it opened. The room was a superior room, not huge but very clean. Breakfast is from 7-10.30 am which is great. Typical French breakfast, nice bread, cheese, cereas... More

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids under 4) and were very happy with our stay. The hotel provided a cot at no extra charge and the kids room was seperate. Gold! The rooms were fairly compact but for the price it was a winner. The bathroom was new and clean. The service staff were very... More

Although we had booked in to the Hotel de France, we were given a room in the Hotel Concorde nearby. The room, on the first floor, was extremely small but it had our requested air-conditioning. It was manageable for two nights. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we were well situated for exploring Beziers. If arriving by train (with... More

We had booked for the Hotel de France but were informed that we were staying in a new building just around the corner (this seemed to be another hotel, but can't remember the name). Price was the same, the room was on the 2nd floor and very nice. An ok size, really nicely decorated, everything seemed to be new. The... More
