Have just returned from 10 nights at the site. We booked with Eurocamp and the pitch was ideal for us as we were next to one of the play areas. With two young kids (seven and four) this was ideal as they were able to play and meet other kids. The fact that our pitch was quite near the fence... More

Just returned from a very enjoyable 11 day stay at the site with two other families. Children's ages 5 to 15 (mostly teenagers). We stayed with Keycamp as we wanted a 3 bed caravan and our friends both had 2 bed vans with Lifestyle. It is a quiet site certainly compared to its sister site La Sirene at the top... More

Staff were great & helpful, but site itself extremely poor and limited. Hilly & loads of concrete roads, no grass for kids to play ball games. Good pool but activities beyond that far too limited - basically just table tennis (and right alongside a wire fence, through which any stray ball required a 10 min round trip to retrieve). Playground... More

We have recently returned from this site and were quite disappointed with our stay. As has been said before the site is quiet and activities very limited although there is a kids club which we didnt use (its run from a tent in the playpark). We found the site quite cramped and arranged quite randomly (probably necessitated by the hill)... More

This was our first "camping" holiday and we (two adults a four year old and a one year old) really enjoyed it. Small, clean site close to a lovely beach and the pools, water slides etc are great for kids. We chose it because reviews suggested that it was quieter than its sister sites and we're not disappointed (it probably... More

We stayed for 7 nights during August and booked through Lifestyle. We paid a little extra to choose our plot (56) which gave us a fair amount of privacy compared to others that we saw. The Air Con is a definite must in Aug too. The home was well equipped though a little cramped for us (though Lifestyle was significantly... More

I stayed here with my husband and 5 year old son at the beginning of Aug for 8 nights and had a wonderful holiday. The campsite is very small and I was wondering if it would be too small for us. I could not have been more wrong! We loved the place. It is a very pretty campsite with trees... More

The good: Nice small campsite away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. Modern well equipped caravan, clean- ish (as expected, its a campsite not 5* hotel) Unlike on previous camping trips, we had an oven- fab, makes it so much easier when you can throw in a pizza for the kids. Aircon was a godsend! Valerie our... More

Our first trip of this kind , travelling with a nearly five and a three yr old. We were thrilled with our choice, bois de valmerie is spotlessly clean, quiet, private and the pool is the best in the area. The campsite is far superior to most of the others. Town centre short trip away on bike, or ten minute... More

This is the second year running we have stayed here, its a perfect location imo as I like to cycle every morning up into the mountains or a coastal ride. Ride at 6 back at 9, just as the wife is getting up then onto the beach for the day,or up at the lovely pool. We stayed for 11 nights on... More
