Hotel located in a peaceful rural setting with comfortable and well-equipped rooms although could be difficult to find at night. Potential visitors should check out the opening hours of the restaurant as we arrived on Sunday evening to be told the restaurant was closed and there had been no indication of this on the website - whether this was a... more

My husband and I plus our daughter aged 9 stayed here for 4 nights in August. We had a deluxe room which was very austere - no pictures on walls and no mirror in bedroom at all. Pool was ok but very small and cold. Garden setting for dinner was delightful but dinner was expensive and wines were priced at... more

The hotel is an oasis, which is a contrast to the resport of Argeles, which is the camping capital of France! Our room had 3 beds and was large and very comfortable. The pool and garden is excellent. Breakfast is served on the terrace around the pool, which is quite expensive at €10 per head. We ate in the hotel... more

We stayed here for 4 nights earlier this month and we really liked the hotel. We upgraded to a delux room and it was nice, big and very clean. The hotel was in a very quite spot a 15 minute walk to the town, you would definitely need a car to stay here and the beach/sea front where most of... more

Arrived into Girona in Spain, and drove up to Argeles as we were staying there for a few nights prior to departure. Hotel is a little off the beaten track, but it is well worth it. You can walk into the top of the town within 15/20 minutes, but it is a beach where all the action is and you... more

This was our second visit to the Auberge du Roua and I was very happy to be able to take my parents along this time. We had a wedding in Canet en Roussillon so I decided to take a couple of extra days off to stay there beforehand. The hotel is lovely, rooms are large, clean and very nicely decorated.... more

After a hectic two weeks in Andalucia and Barcelona we were hoping for a spot of refreshement. Our standards are high as we work in the hospitality business and we were not disappointed. The greeting was cordial and fully informative, the room clean, neat and quiet, and the place a realxing oasis just outside the town village center. The pool... more

We stayed there summer before last and my family loved the hotel. Breakfasts were adequate, but the setting, around the pool, made them special. Service excellent. We had two meals in the restaurant specially made for us as we wanted vegetarian food. Amazing. We all still rave about the mushroom soup and the desserts! Staff and owners of the hotel... more

With a cheap Stansted flight to Perpignan, a hire car, and a little hotel in the foothills of the Pyrenees near Argeles on the Med coast booked via the internet, hubby, myself and our 8 year old son were not sure what to really expect...we weren't disappointed...ok so we got a little lost en route from the airport - albeit... more

A converted Mill,it exudes class from the moment you step in the door. We booked a suite and it was beautiful, new, well appointed with unusual top class fittings. Bathroom excellent, although no curtains! We were not overlooked at the back of the Mill and had alovely view of the mountains. Pool area was excellent and the pool was fitted with one of... more
