At New Year I have decided to look back at 2015 and write some reviews on our best experiences during the year. The top award for this year goes to Auberge du Roua. We stayed there for 3 days this July and had a great time. This is our 3rd time staying here spread over many years and we have... More

This Auberge is really something worth seeing. Though you need a car to get around it is well worth the effort. It is a well run hotel with some excellent rooms. Very well kept and modern facilities. Great outdoor area with pool and bar in good private area. Dining is excellent, but if you stay for a week or two the... More

Thank you very much for your visit and your words that we do really appreciate. You are quite right about the menus in the restaurant. For longer stay, the half-board option exists. It allows you to discover the Chef's Cuisine, and brings more variety to the food served. You then just have to savoure and enjoy ! Looking forward to... More

Hotel was in a lovely location, however, difficult to find beautiful garden and swimming pool, service friendly and very good. Restaurant excellent food, particularly the turbot, good selection of food and wine although expensive was worth it. We were in room named Topaze which was good size room and comfortable, however, which had a separate bathroom and toilet which in... More

Delicate rooms, relaxing atmosphere and really good food and wines chosen perfectly by the waiter. Collioure must be visited when staying here. Lots of small shops with great things to buy for all ages :) One of our favourite hotels to visit in France.

We drove from the centre of town to the hotel 5 times and never repeated a route and that was with a sat-nav! The hotel is certainly not walking distance from Argeles-sur-Mer. However, it is beautiful - the rooms, the pool area, everything is nicely converted and stylish. I was travelling with my daughter and her husband and the food... More

Thank you for your visit. We are just 1km away from Argelès town center. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about the road system in Argelès... This is really out of my reach ! Regarding the restaurant, yes indeed, we will be glad to see you again with your wife. Best regards, Magalie Tonjum More

This is a decent hotel in terms of the room and pool-it is clean and in a nice setting. However the location is further out of town than one might realise, off a track and a car is required if you want to eat away from the hotel. This hotel prides itself on being a good restaurant but I cannot... More

Dear client, allow me a few clarifications : first, the night of your drinks it was raining outside and the restaurant was literally fully booked, with the outside pool bar closed. In general, the pool bar is open and staffed every day from 5pm. Furthermore, our knowledgeable staff is more than happy to provide information about the local area, but... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, and found it just by chance. The centre of the town is a 15 minute walk, where there are some lovely restaurants. We hired bikes which made this journey quicker - it's another 15 minutes walk on from the centre to get to the beach. The staff were always really friendly and spoke english... More

Pristine hotel with delightful garden area. Young staff very friendly and helpful. You do need a car if you want to get around although only 10/15 min walk to the old town and buses anywhere for 1€. The hotel food is delicious although for my wife, who doesn't eat too much rich food, found it a bit of a struggle... More

This beautifully restored wine making estate is the setting for an outstanding restaurant and boutique hotel, that oozes with modern amenities, and features an inviting swimming pool for those hot, dry days of summer. The buildings have rooms on 3 levels, which have all been equipped with the most modern decor and appointments imaginable. Ancient timbers accent the ceilings in... More

Dear guests, Thank you for your very detailed comment on the Auberge, although a few precisions are warranted from our side. First, we do have a pool bar open every day with a great selection of wines from the area, and therefore we do not appreciate when guests seek to open their own bottles on the premises. Furthermore, the restaurant... More

We have thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay and will certainly be returning for a longer stay as it is an ideal place to relax and chill out.
