This an excellent hotel. I like to spend most of my time outside so although I have high standards, my needs are simple: clean, safe, comfortable. If you're looking for 5 star luxury, you may to find another place.

My room was big and the bathroom was clean. My hotel windows opened to let in fresh air! Beautiful. The desk staff is great, even introduced me to another Canadian staying there. Ales is a pretty town, I would love to return and when I do I will stay at the Ibis. I did not eat there (there are so many nearby cafes to eat at, who would want hotel food?). There is a grocery store 30 seconds down the street where you can buy fresh fruit, water etc.
