Very nice views from the hotel. The Chateau de Saint-Germain-en-Laye is right next to it and you can have a nice walk in the garden. But the room is a bit small. It also has no air-conditioning so it could be a problem if you stay in the hot summer. Parking is free.

Stayed here whilst on a training course. First of all the location in St Germain en Laye. What a lovely superb of Paris offering superb views across towards Paris, particularly La Defense. You can also see the Eiffel Tower in the distance which looks superb lit up at night. St Germain en Laye was also a lovely town with loads... More

During the 1990s I spent more than 200 nights at this hotel with its wonderful history and its amazing views. I recommended it widely to my friends . At Easter, since my wife had heard so much about it, I took her and our son for a weekend in France staying at the Pavillon Henri IV. It was not my... More

Lovely location with wonderful views over the Seine and Paris. The Eiffel tower is visible from the terrace. One benefit of this hotel is there is plenty of free parking and the RER is a five minute walk with frequent trains to the centre of Paris. Our room was fairly small, (park side), but had a very large spacious bathroom... More

We chose this hotel for it's great location (half an hour's train ride into Paris) and amazing panoramic views over Paris. However, we had a very mixed experience in this hotel so difficult to rate. Our first night was spent in a tradition room park side which was well renovated but extremely small and incredibly noisy, we could hear every... More

We thank you for your comments. The first night you spent in the room park side, our electrical generator was out of order, so we had a generator outside during a few days awaiting for the electricians to repear it. Sorry for that. The second night, you have been moved to a deluxe room with Paris view without any noise... More

I will start my review from 2 major disadvantages which can be disturbing for some guests: 1) breakfast is acceptable only if you stay one or two nights - despite the pastries and baguettes are vey tasty and always fresh, the available range of products is at the level of Ibis standards - shame on the management!!! - I saw... We stayed at the hotel on our second trip to Paris in two months after discovering it on the first trip. The hotel is located in a historic building with one of its wings being the birth place of Louis XIV and a magnificent view of Paris. The breakfast on the hotel balcony was simply superb. The rooms are spacious... More

GPS could not find the hotel and it is not really well indicated, but once you reach it, you will get a "wow!" feeling. The building just breathes history, food is excellent and the view over Paris (especially by night) is overwhelming. Rooms are cosy, bathrooms are huge. One negative point: my room was overlooking the parking lot, which was... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay looking over Paris. The Pavillon-Team treated us from entering the hotel until leaving like you would be treating your own guests. We definitely are looking forward to coming back, because also the location is convenient. 30 minutes from downtown Paris with the RER you are in the middle of a charming small town with lovely... Just spent the weekend there for a reunion with friends. Great location outside of Paris, half an hour by RER from the main stations in the city. Next to the beautiful park of the local castle, ideal for jogging. Beautiful views over the Seine valley and la Défense and an enthusiastic young staff. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Standing on a vast terrace, near the castle and the forest, this neoclassical house saw the birth of Roi Soleil, Louis XIV. In the dining room with its unique and spectacular view over Paris and the Seine Valley, a delicious cuisine stamped with modernity has replaced the noble recipes of bygone days. You will appreciate the well decorated rooms either with the view over Paris or park side. Private parking, free wifi. RER A train at 5 mn walking (30 mn to Champs-Elysees).
