The hotel is easy to find. The parking excellent. The location is fantastic; close to the train station and within walking distance to the chateaux and town centre. The reception and restaurant is under extensive renovation. The walk through the garden to the room was dark, shabby, causing an initial sinking feeling. On opening the room door we were relieved... With no booking we arrived on the off chance of getting 2 rooms at 6pm. The exterior was a bit tired and sad looking. Reception was very dated but the staff very helpful and we were able to get 2 rooms as requested. The rooms were excellent and a walk away from the main entrance via an unkempt garden and... More

The entrance is overgrown, the reception run down and dowdy and the communal areas of a really poor standard. All dark and gloomy. My room had been re decorated - and given the outside temperature was 37C (97F) i was relieved the aircon worked well. The bed was oversized but very hard and nearly filled the room. The bathroom was... More

The Ermitage Des Loges has its fantastic location in its favour. The train station, chateaux and restaurants are all a short walk away. The restaurant was closed during our stay there and we had to have food delivered which wasn't ideal, but the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is small but fresh and well-presented. As with a... More

I stayed here last night whilst visiting friends in the area and was pleasantly surprised with my newly renovated room on the third floor. It was spotless, very comfortable and the air com worked perfectly. We as a family know the area well but have never stayed in St.Germain. This is a little gem, and once all the renovations are... I have been coming to this hotel for more than 20 years. Recently the decor has been looking very tired/dated and the reviews on Trip Advisor have been quite harsh, in the main. For me, the great thing about this hotel has always been the fantastic location - just 5/10 minutes from all the beautiful shops/restaurants of this fantastic town,... More

We arrived at the hotel for a three night stay and on arrival the hotel looks tired however there are renovations underway in the annexe building so more modern rooms may be available soon. Receptionist was welcoming and efficient but the hotel itself is very tired with faded dusty red carpet throughout. Our room (no 112) was very small just... More

Stayed here for 4 nights recently. Hotel is in two parts - there are some rooms in the actual hotel and some more in an annexe. Rooms are clean, and ours was big, as was the bathroom! Breakfast is good and there is a variety of stuff - served between 0700-0930 weekdays and 0730-1000 on weekends. I would go back... More

I moved to this hotel from a truly horrible place nearby, after recommendations from a local. The hotel is about 700m from the RER, along a dirt track making taking suitcases difficult. When I checked out a taxi charged me 20 € to take me back to the RER! The hotel is rather dated, the rooms are a good size... More

The only good thing about this hotel is that it was close to the centre of town and the parking was free. There is no a/c or fan available when requested. The first room we were shown to was filthy and far too hot. We complained about the room and were given another room one floor above the first one,... More
