I reserved a room at the Orly Rungis and later had to cancel my reservation. I did so in a timely manner (serveral days beforehand). However, when I returned home to America I was advised by my credit card company that I had a charge of $225. Upon learning of this outrage I called the Hotel, explained the circumstances (e.g. wrongly charged for a room never occupied) and was informed by the agent that she whould look into the matter and call me back the next day. That was a week ago. I never heard from her or anyone else from the Hotel. This all happened to me in May of this year. Now I have to go through the red tape of having my credit card company put a temporary hold on the Hotel's charge while I write to them with proof of my cancelation. I have no reason to believe the charge will be reversed since I misplaced the cancelation number given me by the Rungis agent.
