Abruzzo is definitely one of the most raw and interesting places to visit in Italy, and if you do this, you should definitely visit Navelli and its saffron fields! Jimmy and Francesca's Segreto d'Abruzzo is one of the best places to stay while visiting the region. Their place is peaceful and cosy, they have an excellent breakfast and are really... More

When you go to Abruzzo, you want to take in all the local, special places and the proprietors; Jimmy and Francesca always deliver great suggestions for food, wineries and experiences. The B & B took 12 of us and made our stay comfortable. We took a spectacular cooking class from Vilma; Francesca's mother... It was so amazing to learn how... More

My experience with the Abruzzo Segreto was amazing Francesca and Jimmy took us behind the scenes in beautiful Italy. Using the word fabulous is an understatement as this trip was one of the lifetime. We put in a full day from the morning we woke to the time they brought us back. Experiencing and seeing where my grandparents lived and... More

We have always wanted to go to Italy for Easter and Francesca knew every local celebration in all the surrounding towns. I specifically asked for recommendations near my mother's home town; and the good Friday and Easter Sunday events/mass were spectacular that Francesca recommended. We would have never found them without her. Then it was off to all the other... More

We stayed at Abruzzo Segreto for 5 days earlier this month and loved it. We will definately return. Francescaand Jimmy made us feel like part of the family and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Tucked away in a quaint mountain village in Italy. You will not find greater value and a more authentic... More

We go to the Abruzzo Segreto each year and use as a base to see all the amazing parts of the region. We love the to see all the places that Francesca, one of the proprietors, will recommend to visit. She not only recommends, but also will also give you background or history of why to go/see a certain place.... More

We stumbled upon this B & B nearly five years ago looking for a place to stay near my mother's hometown and are so glad we did. Francesca and Jimmy, the proprietors, treat their place and their guests with genuine Abruzzo care and pride. From the places they suggest in the nearby Abbruzzo region to treating their guest warmly, it... More

This is our second stay at Abruzzo Segreto Navelli. Francesca and Jimmy are terrrific hosts, they are helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and our bathroom was new and modern. They make a lovely breakfast, even gluten free upon request!! There is plenty of reading material about the area and they will go out of their way to help... More

Situated in charming village with breathtaking surroundings, this b&b exceeded our expectations. Clean simple rooms, own outdoor space, great modern bathroom, private parking and, above all, cordial, helpful owners. We'll be back.

The hospitality of Francesca and Jimmy was exceptional. We felt relaxed as soon as we met them. The breakfast was delicious, Jimmy even made poached (cottled) eggs for me for breakfast and scrambled eggs for my wife and daughter. Coffee was delicious and Francesca taught us all about the art of olive oil tasting. The rooms were comfortable and welcoming,... More
