We found this hotel to be very comfortable but a good 15 minute walk into the main town of Versaille. No complaints about the room which was big enough for the three of us with a mini bar and safe. Room was modern and well set up and plug points near mirrors which when you are three women is a... more

i do not understand why tripadvisor does not list this hotel as versailles but le chesnay. ok its 50 metres from le chesnay but it is easy to walk into versailles e.g palace gardens 15 minutes. bad points 1. no lift from the car park to the hotel. be prepared to drop your bags off. 2. the island outside the... more

Stayed here for one night, at a rate of 155 Euros for a triple. The third bed doubled as a sort of couch, so it was on the narrow side, but comfortable enough. The room was clean, but it was extremely hot. A little sign beside the thermostat mentioned it was possible to raise the temperature inside the room with... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The rooms are typical of a Novotel and were very nice. Check in was fast and easy, even though the hotel was pretty full. Breakfast was very good. Some meats and cheeses, various breads, some sausages, fruits, cereals, scrambled eggs, ect. We found dinner to be very expensive and did not eat... more

I stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions and have previously written a very critical review. I stayed again in this hotel in August 2007 and felt compelled to write another review which runs counter to my previous one. The hotel is now of the excellent standard one expects of a Novotel. The staff were all helpful to... more

We found the hotel very easily using an AA map. The rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. We had dinner in the hotel which was excellent, breakfast was typical french hotel style. We only stayed here one night but would stay again. more

Hotel was a little tricky to find but had underground parking and was very well located for our visit to Versailles. To get to le chateau you just had to cross the roundabout and walk straight ahead for about 10 minutes. It was a nice walk down a tree lined avenue. Hotel rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. We... more

My wife, 4 yr old daughter and I stayed here for one night after visiting Versailles and after 3 nights in Arromanches at a hotel which had promised a lot but undelivered. Arriving at the Novotel in Versailles, we were anxious, but rapidly cheered up! From the ease of the underground parking to the spacious and modern reception to the... more
