Not a great hotel but its ok value for the money. The location is pretty good. Short walk across the bridge to the centre of town. It is a wee bit dated but they are refurbishing the public areas. I found the room and the bed quite comfortable. All in all its about right for the money

Stayed for 2 nights and was very pleased with the hotel. It had a friendly atmosphere and there was a homely feel to the place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good situation; just across the bridge from the main town and close to lots of good restaurants, the cathedral and the wonderful Imperial Palace and Gardens. Rooms have seen better days and the bathroom was tiny. Street parking outside but you have to pay.

We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in a family room (111). We returned to this hotel in 2013, having last stayed here in 2008, and the hotel has not improved since then. This hotel looks appealing as you approach it over the bridge from the town. I have stayed there for two nights. searching the hotel with a portal it looked like the best choice for the price and location. the rooms are OK but in the bathroom there is nearly no place to turn around. there were some blankets that looked like Napoleon also used them and the floor was creaking all over the room.... The hotel is handily placed on the other side of the river to the main town.
