Room was big (family rooms the 'only rooms left' online but there seemed to be few people there). Not pretending to be anything they're not but a lack of anything other than a room and an early closed reception bar made it a little underwhelming for the price. Rooms were big and comfy if a little dated

You walk out of the Compiegne Gare, look straight ahead over the Oise River and there it is - exactly as Google Satalite showed me. So you stroll over the bridge and turn to your left, walk down to the very red restaurant - and the Hotel is next door. The Reception is pleasant and the staff helpful, and they... More

I have stayed here a few times whilst researching a cycle ride, and in May this year I took a group of 14 cyclists. We stayed here for one night en route to Amiens. Each time I have stayed I have come away feeling slightly disappointed but I returned because of the convenience of the location and rooming configuration although... More

Family room layout was great. Had a separate bedroom with a door from main lounge area and second bed area - I wish all hotels had this. Décor in rooms and reception good. Communal areas tired. They seemed to have an issue with debit cards, be warned. Friendly staff but English language skills patchy, leading us to miss out on... More

We stopped over night on our tour from south to north and yes, it's okay for one night. Average hotel, max. 3 stars, but friendly stuff, large rooms, good parking, good location, a better one for French hotels (most of them I have been were very poor)

Stayed here for one night on our start of a short tour of France. Good paid for parking across the road. Our room was on the top floor and very spacious, could have done with better lighting in the hallways that actually worked rather than trying to find a light switch.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The service was friendly and helpful right from the start. The rooms were spacious and well set out. The location is right on the river and within walking distance of numerous local shops and restaurants. All in all it was a very comfortable stay from all aspects.

Very spacious hotel room (2 bedrooms and a living room). Nice location (close to city centre and the river). Breakfast really enjoyable, fresh orange juice and very good croissants. Beds of good quality, bathroom a bit small for such a big room, but functional. Good on the route to north (50 km north of Paris).

Stayed two nights here in April. While the staff were friendly and the breakfast OK, I really don't think it was a four star hotel!! Our room was painted in brown and purple and we got to it along an incredibly dark corridor. The bathroom was tiny and slightly grotty. The breakfast room was also decorated in dark paint and...
