Having just returned from the trip of a lifetime, I can't speak highly enough of this adorably charming little Bed & Breakfast: Villa Escudier Located on the southwest corner of Paris, in Boulogne-Billancourt, we found this to be a great location, just a short 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station, with several small shops within close proximity (fromagerie,... We selected this "Hotel" due to its apparent "boutique" qualities and referring to reviews. Not cheap at 170 Euro per night for a "Superior" room. First impression. Odour. The room which was in a separate annex had a terrible stale pong. We opened the windows and went out to buy some scented candles. The carpet was not fitted flush to... More

We (my wife and I) stayed here for five nights from January 20th 2015. We chose this hotel primarily for its location (a 15 minute walk from our daughter's and son-in-law's home in order to be with them for the birth of their second child; we normally stay in Paris when visiting them). We were however, pleasantly surprised by the... More

My girlfriend and myself stayed here for four nights of an extended trip to Paris. It was just outside the main city but easy to get everywhere via the metro system, a station was just around the corner. The staff were absolutely great. They were so friendly and made us feel comfortable, they were happy to answer any questions we... More

Just returned from our 3 night stay at the Villa Escudier to watch PSG v Monaco at the Parc des Princes with our son. 5th to 8th Oct 2014.(Stadium in walking distance also Roland Garros for the French Open is close). Then having a lovely break in Paris. Football stadium atmosphere was electric with the usual chanting end to end... More

Booked this hotel as it was near to Longchamp Racecourse (1 1/2 mile walk) unusual setting down an alleyway behind the Main Street, but a little gem. Secluded garden and very quiet. We stayed in room 4 which is a double studio. Tastefully refurnished with fridge. Boulangerie, Fromagerie and shops 100 yards away. With nice bar on the corner. 2... More

Villa Escudier proved a pleasant surprise both for me and for French friends from the quarter who came to visit. The lovely garden at its center is a real respite, and nicely furnished for writers, picnickers and dreamers alike. All this is hidden well back from the street, but the entry drive is easily located from rue Escudier via a... More

We stayed at the Villa Escudier for 5 nights in late May while attending the French Open Tennis Tournament (about a 5 block walk from the hotel--although the Paris Metro system will get you almost as close from anywhere in Paris). Hotel prices are significantly higher during the tournament. This is a lovely, clean, modern, quaint, quiet, facility, and if... More

I stayed here with my son and his girlfriend for 3 nights while visiting Paris, to attend the French Open. The location is fantastic, close to Roland Garros, great local shops and market to buy wonderfully fresh produce, cheese, bakery. Staying here was so much nicer than staying in the touristy areas of Paris, which I have done previously. The... More
