My partner and i have just returned from a 4 day/3 night trip to Paris with Riviera Travel. We travelled on Eurostar from St Pancreas and stayed at Mercure Porte de St Cloud. Paris was amazing but everyone knows and expects that. The Hotel was good and worth the extra cost of upgrade. Be aware that there are no tea... more

My wife and I went on a Riviera four day break leaving from London St Pancras on Eurostar to Paris staying at the Hotel Mercure Porte de St Cloud. This is not so much about the hotel as we had no complaints, but about the trip as a whole, which we could not fault. When we arrived at Gare de... more

A lovely hotel. Bar v expensive. Near Metro and easy access to city. Out of hotel turn left, right at next road and there is a chinese takeaway 300m on right- cheap, cheerful and good. Out of hotel go straight on to next main road. Cross road to supermarket. Street market in Avenue Versailles on some days. At Versailles don't... more

Stayed here with a colleague on a business trip to Paris. I wouldn't bother to write a review but I thought I should warn other travelers against staying here. We booked 2 nights online through the Accor website. the rate was - quote - "Business package including breakfast and Free Internet Access". As it turned out, we were given an... more

We have just spent three nights in this hotel. The rooms are bright and modern. Very nice bathrooms with a very effective shower and lots of hot water. The beds are enormous. There is a bar but not much of a restaurant. Room service is available. The hotel is very clean. There are a few restaurants around the hotel. We... more

Stayed at the hotel after booking through riviera travel. The hotel is clean and comfortable with large 6ft wide beds. The rooms however did not have the advertised tea and coffee making facilities. The package I booked was a bed and breakfast deal and the breakfast was good with cereal pastries fresh fruit juice and ham and eggs available buffet... more

Went with a tour in the last week of April. Hotel was clean, my room on the 4th floor had a 7ft wide bed(!). My companions room on the 3rd floor had a queen size, too. Everything you would expect from a modern hotel - didn't have time to access the internet and didn't eat there (the breakfast was in... more

The hotel is in a close Paris suburb and accessible via the Paris Metro and bus lines. Unfortunately we were there during a transit strike (though the #72 bus ran to central Paris). The hotel is clean, friendly and located in an area with several nice brasserie-type restaurants if you don't want to go downtown to eat. The rooms are... more

The hotel was OK, but after my colleague and I were assigned separate rooms (per our reservations), the desk clerk ran up the stairs to catch us coming out of the elevator, so that he could tell us that my colleague's room was not usable (without any particular explanation). We ended up having to share a room - not the... more

We have just enjoyed a four day break in Paris, staying at the Mercure Paris Porte de St Cloud. The double room was very comfortable and clean but suffered from the occasional noisy air conditioning fan and lacked the stated tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was buffet style but predictable in choice and bread and rolls disappointedly solid. An... more
