Stayed here 1 night on business trip. Had room 104. Very good room ( AC, minibar, comfy bed, spacious, good bathroom w shower). Hotel was surprisingly big. Didn't use spa facilities. Ordered roomservice breakfast which was delivered promptly at 07h30, as requested. The town of Barbizon itself was full of restaurants, though not many open at a Tuesday evening in... More

Whoever designed the renovation of the Hotel Les Pleiades should be kept away from any successful business or national landmark...unless of course you enjoy gray paint and stark rooms without art or decor. Maybe that's unfair since we stayed in two of the least expensive rooms in the hotel (Only 21 rooms but what seems like a 1/2 kilometer struggle... More

I have stayed a single night at the Hotel les Pleiades in March 2015. Arrived at 20hrs I easily parked my car in the street in front of the hotel, though after asking the reception, I was told there is a hotel private parking in the back of the venue that you can easily access by making a right after... Have seen this place a few times before and it always looked a bit expensive even for barbizon.it seems to have changed hands as it now very affordable (I think they are concentrating on the spa side more now) the receptionist was excellent and even showed me to my room.a nice courtesy you don't get that often any more.the room... I just finished a two nights and three days of off site meetings. I was not sure about this hotel even though we had done our research. I am very glad about my choice.10 People, all professionals. Great meeting room. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Restaurant and food very good. I will come back

Stayed here two nights on business while in France. The newly renovated hotel is very charming and located in Barbizon -- a quaint french town near Fountainebleau. The second evening, in fact, my group occupied the entire facility so I had the chance to be one of many guests and then, THE guest. The telling thing is that the team... More

This could be a great hotel but it just isn't. I hate to be negative as it's got a lot going for it - modern, clean, contemporary, large rooms although we stayed in a suite so I suppose they should be, spa, friendly staff etc. But it just lacked atmosphere, character, a feeling of hospitality I suppose - you almost... This hotel looks great on the outside, but lacks everything on the inside. As we entered the room, our initial impression was good. But then, when we looked closer: The furniture is very cheap and flimsy (Ikea makes better quality furniture!) The bathroom door is made of plywood or press wood and is hollow There is 1-2 mm crack between... More

stayed here for 1 night business trip. Nice ambiente and cozy and well sized room. I didn't had time to check out the SPA, so no rating on this. Nevertheless I was missing essential things for 5* level, eg. free water to drink and fruit basket in the room. No water boiler & tea. Breakfast rather limited for European relations.

We stayed at the Pleiades on the way to Provence and ate in the Brasserie. Everything was perfect and the food was the best I have had in years. The hotel room was wonderful and we had a lovely view overlooking the street. Barbizon is beautiful. I would recommend to anyone and would stay again!
