Horrible Service. Horrible Food. Served white wine in red wine glasses and claimed that red white glasses bring more aroma to the white wine. Simply said, we went reading a review on Trip Advisor, sadly I wish I went to McDonalds.

I would like to share my winter experience at la Clé d'Or. Arrival time around 6pm. Manager not so welcome but my friend and myself did not mind. Bad surprise with a room at the end of the garden. Had to cross the winter cold (0° to 4°) with our luggage without help. Room was gloomy and COLD. We turned... More

I had my birthday dinner there with five friends. Excellent service. Dinner was great with reasonable price. Also I tasted their home made wine, the spice one is rememberable! Everything is brilliant. ps. no worry if you lost your credit card there, the manager will keep it well. Overall, great place, I will come back someday.

I stayed at this charming hotel with my husband and our dog for one night on our way further south. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and clean, tidy bathroom and a small table and chairs outside allowed us to enjoy the lovely garden. The restaurant menu was rather limited however breakfast was nice enough. The staff... More

Service from the front office was appalling. They tried to double charge for room , and then overcharged for the dinner. The bathroom was mouldy. Worst customer experience in France, over a five week period. It was not a language issue, but an attitude issue. Cannot recommend this hotel

Fantastic location in a charming art focused little town. Came from Paris for the weekend and had a lovely time browsing galleries and hiking in the wonderful Fontainebleau forest. The highlight of our stay were the meals, as vegetarians it isn't easy to find tasty and innovative cuisine but we were pleasantly surprised. Although the menu didn't have vegetarian options... My husband and I brought a group of artists to explore the forest and small towns where the Impressionists painted. The hotel was ideally located for strolling in the town, the museums and the forest. The chef served our meals family style on the lovely flower bedecked terrace. We were a group of 13 which would be difficult but the... More

A great and unforgatable venue!!! La clé d'Or (the Gold key) diserved its name. You are warmly welcome and the overall quality is here. You will appreciate the size of the rooms and also the Bar with the Magic's Animations of Franky Tricheur who is amazing!!!!

We stayed voor 3 days in this hotel at the end of last year. The hotel is nicely situated in a smal art village. The room was excellent and the service even more. Because on the 31st of december there were no taxis availabel, the sympatic owner Patrice brought us with his own car to the nearest trainstation (16 km).... More

A fairly rustic place but then you get what you pay for in a village like this. Rooms were pretty small and the shower was a bit of a challenge. Decent bit of garden at the back with handy private parking. It seems to be run on a casual friendly basis and as I said, you get what you pay... More
