We almost forgot we were in Paris when looking out of the window from hotel room. A long road of hawkers selling things. Not a pretty site. 3 minutes if walking to Metro station but we had to walk past dump sites.

Read some negative reviews on the location, not sure if it was because of the cold weather, but there werent many beggars hanging around in the night, aside from the basic no frill hotel stay, there really isn't much to eat around the hotel except McDonalds and some dingy kebab place, but who wants to eat McDonalds when in France??!!
