Stopped here to break up the trip from Toulouse to Paris and chose it because of its central location, secure, underground and free parking and reasonable rate (Euro 55). Although the room was on the small side, it was clean and had a great view of the canals which were beautifully lit at night. It's centrally located, right by the bus interchange, supermarket and one minute's walk to the main shopping area. The public areas are decorated with framed posters and photos of 1950's era movie stars plus old juke boxes etc - rather quirky, but nice to have something different from the usual standard hotel decor. It had free internet wifi too. We didn't eat in the restaurant, as there were quite a few others nearby which were busy - always a sign they're good. The hotel wanted 13 euros for breakfast for two but fortunately we found a boulangerie (Pat a Pain) just around the corner where we had breakfast for under 8 euros. more
