We were made to wait 10 minutes to check in by 2 surly teenagers working at reception. It appears that someone was still in our room. This was 5pm. A set of dirty clothes had been left in the wardrobe in our room. The manager rang our room ( wanting to remove said clothes) and was told that it was... More

Hotel was Nice, à good room for à good price.breakfast is ok, THE owner runs THE hotel with pasion. Breakfast is first served at 7:00 this can be à problem if you are there for business. Also THE toilet is small, this can be à problem for tall and big people (leg space). THE room is clean and looks oké... More

Very clean comfortable room with modern bathroom and air conditioning. Only 1 minute to the main town centre with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Although close to the centre on a busy road the double glazing kept the noise out and the beds were very comfy.

Clean rooms and clean facilities but the over all look of the hotel is slightly 'tired' though I do believe that upgrades are on the way soon. Run by two staff the breakfast was basic but well prepared and met our needs perfectly. In a quiet area of town close to a very good Italian restaurant La Scala. Parking at... More

This hotel is a good location in central Chateauroux although there is not much to really see in the immediate area. The hotel is pretty basic and needs a bit of a TLC but the room was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was poor even for French standards would probably not use again.

This hotel is unusual in that it is not part of a chain, there is no formica in the rooms and the beds are comfortable. The welcome was warm. There is a lift, so although we were on the third floor it was not a problem. There is a large public multi storey car park right opposite and it was... More

Good hotel situated in the town centre opposite multistorey car park. On 4 floors but has elevators. No evening ressurant, but 5 mins away from town centre. Roomns clean tidy and business like with comfy bed, wifi and excellent shower. A good base to work from, and a good town centre hotel Breakfast standard continental.

Such a nice, comfortable, old-fashioned French hotel. Centrally located, comfortable rooms, warm welcome, good breakfast, flexible approach. We were sent here by the road-rescue company after the car had broken down - but would certainly come back voluntarily if we were ever in this area again.

This hotel is dark, dingy and badly in need of an upgrade. HOWEVER, this has already been done for the rooms themselves. Once in your room, everything is comfortable, modern and clean. We were disturbed in our stay, however by loud construction noise in the next room, beginning unacceptably early and we complained to the manager but he still didn't... More

I just returned from a quick trip to Chateauroux to visit some friends after being in Paris for over a week. The rooms are spacious and have large bathrooms that you don't usually find in European hotels. The best part is breakfast....everything is local to the region and the jam is homemade by the owner himself. C'est bon.
