Such a nice, comfortable, old-fashioned French hotel. Centrally located, comfortable rooms, warm welcome, good breakfast, flexible approach. We were sent here by the road-rescue company after the car had broken down - but would certainly come back voluntarily if we were ever in this area again.

This hotel is dark, dingy and badly in need of an upgrade. HOWEVER, this has already been done for the rooms themselves. Once in your room, everything is comfortable, modern and clean. We were disturbed in our stay, however by loud construction noise in the next room, beginning unacceptably early and we complained to the manager but he still didn't... More

I just returned from a quick trip to Chateauroux to visit some friends after being in Paris for over a week. The rooms are spacious and have large bathrooms that you don't usually find in European hotels. The best part is breakfast....everything is local to the region and the jam is homemade by the owner himself. C'est bon.

Good value. Great room with all facilities including large bathroom with drench head shower. Very clean, good breakfast
