When going through the gates the Chateau is beautiful. An absolute picture postcard of a classical French country house. The grounds are spacious, well laid out and in summer the swimming pool would be absolutely delightful.. Ample parking at the front of the house, but quite a lot of steps up to the main entrance door. No problem for me... More

I stayed here for a race weekend at the nearby Magny Cours race track. While the area/landscape is certainly not worth the trip, I can highly recommend this hotel. It is an absolutely lovely 19th century chateau that oozes character and charm. You obviously cannot compare it to purpose-built modern 5 star hotels with air conditioning, standard room lay-outs and... More

Everything was as, or more than expected: perfect domaine (lake, chapel, huge garden, nice swimming pool etc). The staff was very kind and helpful. Nice lobby and breakfast room. The room (superior double) was out of words, we had the bathroom in the donjon with 300 degree perfect view and 8 windows!! Do not imagine a huge bathroom, small but... More

Newly refurbished but kept all of its charm and character. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Wonderful to sit out and listen to the crickets and frog song in the evening. A lovely place to get away. Wished we could have stayed longer and made use of the lovely pool.

What a lovely place to stay, wish we could've stayed longer. Full of character and charm. The guy who welcomed us was really helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. They have a lovely outdoor pool that we unfortunately didn't have time to use but we did enjoy listening to the crickets and frogs song from the terrace. The rooms... More

Our room was large and it was a cold evening yet there is plenty of heat. We overlooked the pool which would be lovely to loll around in summer we were not so lucky to be there in summer and only discovered the downstairs spa by morning. Breakfast was great in the lovely furnished dining room and all in all... More

We absolutely loved our stay at the castle for one night. Wished we could have stayed longer. The property is located in the middle of the countryside surrounded by fields with the city of Nevers easily reachable by car. The castle has been renovated with great care. The room was lovely and spacious . I would recommend the Darjeeling room... More

We stayed for a few nights in this nice hotel. Everything was freshly renovated, wellness area with Sauna and Whirlpool were new and generous. Outdoor swimming pool was still a bit chilly at this time of the year, but certainly a very good assett in the summer. The hotel is situated fairly outside of Nevers in a generous park with... More

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful Chateau to celebrate his birthday. The rooms are all unique and exquisitely furnished, our room was simply stunning with views over the gardens. Our hosts made us feel most welcome and they helped us plan our weekend by suggesting places to visit in the area. I can't recommend this Chateau highly enough,... More

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful chateau for 2 nights in August. And we absolutely loved it! This is definately one of the best Bed & Breakfast places we have ever stayed at. The chateau is a couple of hundred years old and very charming. All the rooms are newly refurbished and are beautifully decorated in a tasteful... More
