This is the second of four reviews of budget hotels while touring through Burgundy on a motorcycle (see also review of the Motel Au Soleil Levant, Meursault; Hotel Arlequin, Troyes). In border of a park and close to the railways station and the Old City with few restaurants, a picturesque old hotel of 2 stories. No lift. Entirely non-smoking but in a patio. I probably overlooked the information that the Hotel does not open until 17.30 so had a wasted walk on a hot day from the station an hour earlier. Once booked in however I found this a friendly charming Hotel and excellent value for money. A comfortable bed and quiet location ensured a good nights sleep and I could not find... More
