We spent a week exploring the La Route des Grand Cru de Bourgogne from the gite of Martine (La Noyeraie). Her and partner José were exceptional hosts, generously providing recommendations for each days adventure. The gite was bright and clean, the garden beautiful and the location quiet. Definitely recommend this affordable and attractive apartment. We look forward to returning again.... More

We spent the Easter Weekend at the beautiful home of Martine. Our room was perfectly clean, modern-style furnished and extremely quiet and cosy. We also enjoyed the warm and welcoming hospitality. Breakfast and particularly the dinner were exquisite. Also we received very valuable recommendation on what to visit and where to eat. We were really sad when leaving and will... More

We have been here several times and have always been more than satisfied. Martine and José are more than welcoming - we even shared an impromptu snack on our last visit. The separate guest area (ideal for a family) is tastefully decorated, with a nice big bathroom. We recommend it highly.

This is a very warm and clean B&B run with terrific hospitality by Martine and Lose. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we had a nice dinner with our hosts. Though our French was pretty weak, we had a lovely evening enjoying Martine's fine cooking and good , if limited, conversation with Martine and Lose. Martine was particularly helpful... More

We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Burgundy! Martine greeted us with the best of French hospitality and an exceptional gourmet dinner! Mornings were met by delicious, fresh, and varied breakfasts and stimulating discussions that included places to visit that day. She would send us off with picnic lunches, maps; she even lent us the GPS from her... More

We just stayed 1 night, but were warmly welcomed by Martine, got great restaurant tips and the next morning a wonderful breakfast with homemade products and enriching discussions. We felt like at home. The rooms are spacious and clean. The place is a bit out of town (which makes it a quiet place), and in just 10 minutes by car... More

Impossible to find fault with LaN. Martine and Jose could not have been more pleasant and when my travel arrangements went awry, they were only too pleased to help sort things out. Meals were delicious - particularly the assortment of home-made specialities at breakfast - and the rooms were spacious and spotless. Don't leave without trying the walnut wine!

I am sorry our breakfast turned out to be a disappointment. As pointed out in the website I have opted to lay on homemade baking & dairy products as well as various fruit dishes. The breakfast is different each morning - sometimes there is freshly baked bread and sometimes toast because we like that too! To me a maison d’hôte... More

This was a wonderful place to stay. Martine and José were wonderful hosts and very helpful to us in organizing our trip to the Maconnais and Beaujolais vineyards and navigating the rental or our car and the transportation by train in Mâcon. La Noyeraie is in a beautiful setting located on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from some local shops including a supermarket, patisserie and a cafe/bar.
