Located on the very edge of Chalon Sur Saone this hotel has a reasonable sized car park adjacent to the hotel. It does also get used by the Campanile restaurant next door where you can get a discount when you produce your room card key. The room was basic but of good size, not much to see around the location... More

This place is convenient for an overnight stop en route to our holiday. However I wouldn't recommend room 25. Spacious? Yes. That's because it's a room for disabled people. No complaints there of course. But the bathroom concertina door is broken, doesn't close propery and certainly doesn't even fit at the top and bottomed and therefore affords you absolutely no... We booked our two rooms 2 hours before via bookings.com as we knew then how far we would like to drive that day. When we called to confirm, the receptionist did not speak any English but all was good so it was fine. We are a family with three kids (7,10,12) and a dog ( Staffie), the carpark was not... More

This hotel is as plain as it is simple. A no nonsense hotel with no frills, bells or whistles. The rooms are compact and bijou but clean. Sleep quality was good and I didn't experience any noise issues. Good parking facilities and biker friendly.

we chose this hotel as we wanted to leave our car at the hotel and be able to walk into town and to the railway station. It was fine for this (about a 20 minute walk). There is also the benefit of a Kyriad restaurant next door.

This hotel may be suitable if you can't find anything else or cannot afford a proper hotel. The name is ridiculous, because it is far from first class: not only lack the building and rooms every form of inspiration (they are clearly built to earn money easily), but it is very noisy as well because the room doors are made... Having read some of the previous reviews, and in light of what we had paid, we were pleasantly surprised on arriving at the hotel for our one night stopover en route to Liguria. The welcome was friendly and informative, the room was clean, comfortable and a reasonable size and the bathroom, although a plastic pod within the room, was fine... More

Unlike some of the newer PC hotels, this one had paper thin walls and ceilings plus plumbing that allowed you to hear the shape and size of everyone's nocturnal ablutions. All night! Bread and buffet as stale as ever but hell, what can you expect for €27 a night!

Suitable for an inexpensive roadside stop. Bed was small (for two) and slanted toward the middle. The only night of our 18-day journey that I didn't really sleep. TV was in corner and very high so that watching the Finale of French X Factor and random American programs was neck-torture. Adjoining restaurant was exceptional, though! But spaceship bathroom malodorous. No... More
