If you stay here do not plan on doing any business on the internet you have to get a new code every five minutes to stay connected. Great location right next to the train station and a nice hotel but the internet is from 1990! Everything is in walking distant from the hotel. Plenty of shops but be sure you... More

We Stayed here for 2 nights before a river cruise. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The room was bright, spotless, comfortable and large for Europe. The bathroom was huge with plush towels and 2 sinks. The bed was extremely comfortable. Was grateful for free wifi that worked all the time. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I liked the... We were on our way back from Italy and stopped here. We had a very clean, spacious bedroom of the three of us. The decor was very funky and the bathroom huge. The bedroom was so quiet at night, which was surprising as we were right next to the railway. The staff were very helpful. There is a car park... More

One night of an excellent facility stay. Excellent service with many English speaking staff. Off street parking a key consideration. Less than a half block from train station. A short distance to cruises from Chalon. With pack only it is about a 1.5 km walk. With luggage taxi is best. Full buffet breakfast for 14€

Once upon a time, French provincial towns and villages were heavens for vacation and gastronomy. Every town square had a Michelin starred restaurant or auberge. Remember the famous Michelin starred Relais de l’Empereur in Montelimar, or the new and clean family-friendly Novotels next to the highways? Where are they gone? Indeed, during the last decades this has changed, for the... More

An beautiful room with an on site car park. Great bathroom but it did not have a separate shower. Our room was very spacious and the beds are comfy. We had room service with the best chips I have ever eaten. A super breakfast too!

We stayed here as a one-nighter on our way to Llanca. Very clean and very chic. Staff excellent, very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat here as we wanted to explore other restaurants in the area and found a super restaurant on the 'island' .. another review. Room exceptionally clean but a little small but nonetheless, perfect. Free Wifi. Secure... More

We stayed here on our way back from the south and thought it was great. We were in the family room with 2 small children and there was plenty of space for us all. The bathroom was huge with a big bath and 2 sinks!. The main bed was really comfy and we all slept really well. The hotel seemed... More

We had low expectations of the hotel based on the location, but it was a great surprise. The hotel had a boutique feel, very modern and stylish. The Nuxe toiletries sealed the deal! Very convenient to the train station for left luggage etc. It's only a short walk into the old town. The town itself would be a good base... More

Chalon-sur-Saone is a classic stop off town for those heading to the south of France - and sure enough the case for us. In many respects, this image of the town is a shame as in the limited time we had to walk around, we realised the town itself seemed quite nice - and being in Burgundy, I'm quite sure... More
