Wonderful building although terrible position on a main road close to a non-descript village. The best thing about our stay was the delightful service, but the bedrooms desperately need refurbishing. We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Chateau de Bellecroix. The chateau was lovely with fantastic service. The best part of the hotel is the sumptous dining room. We had demi-pension (breakfast and dinner) and we loved going into the dining room to experience that night's specialty. We tried regional delicacies that we would never have... more

A charming little chateau hotel, a bit oddly placed on the outskirts of the small and otherwise unattractive village of Chagny, but once you're on the chateau grounds you forget all that. Magnificent lawn with big shady trees where they serve breakfast, and sometimes even dinner, or just the dessert. We've seem a 'regular room' which seems a bit pricey... more

Across the street from a neon-lit 2-star hotel, next door to a Renault dealership, the Chateau is gorgeous on the outside but a bit tired on the inside. Ugly, small bathroom, mediocre decor... not dreadful, but could do better for the price. Skio it. more

A nice small chateau type hotel. Comfortable rooms Restaurant excellent. We used it this year (03) when visiting the Burgundy vineyards and also as a stop on the way to Provence. Staff friendly and the grounds and pool look good. more
