Stayed here two nights on business trip. Decent sized rooms with comfortable beds. Wifi constantly dropped signal which was an annoyance. Standard breakfast buffet but good. Large restaurant/bar with good food. Also a club downstairs. Adequate English skills in the staff. Not much around the hotel in the way of other eating places. A small aquarium is nearby. Would not... More

This hotel is tired-looking, in need of modernization and refurbishment. Toilets are rooms were stuck in the 90s. Heater was not working for both our rooms which was quite weird. Service was good and promptly resolved the heater issue by switching rooms for us. Overall Mercure hotels are disappointing - stayed in 5 different locations and they all felt like... More

20 min walk from city center, large, comfortable rooms, decent breakfast but no Internet for three days and no one knew why nor when it would be fixed. That did not happen during my stay and severely impactedy ability to take care of business.

Pleasant location close to the marina, and away from any centre-of-town or through traffic noise. A shuttle bus to the centre does run from opposite the hotel though. Dinner and buffet breakfast in the brasserie were very enjoyable at a reasonable price, with a particularly wide choice of items for breakfast. A small but thoughtful item in the Reception lounge... I stayed here for 3 weeks as part of team. The staff were great, the food was excellent, and the rooms very reasonable. The staff had varying grasps of English, but never made me feel stupid! They were very happy to book restaurants, taxis etc. We ate separately to the other guests.... Our food was very nice; if the presentation... More

This hotel is actually a very good hotel and I would recommend it to anyone - as long as they like a good walk. the information said that it was very near the town of Vannes and the receptionist said that it was a 10 minute walk. I can only say that the people striding past us doing Nordic walking... More

We stayed at the Hotel Mercure, Vannes for two nights recently. Hotel was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was particularly good. BUT BEWARE THIS HOTEL IS NEXT DOOR TO A NIGHTCLUB and on the second night we were interrupted and had no sleep from midnight onwards. Constant noise from outside, cars racing round the hotel car park, fights and ambulances... More
