From the moment we entered the beautifully kept garden to walking into the pristine and tastefully furnished reception area we sensed we had found an unexpected gem for our three night stay visiting this part of Brittany for the first time. We were equally impressed when we were shown to our imaginatively furnished air conditioned and spacious room on the... More

This was our second visit to the Auberge and we were certainly not disappointed. We had booked a room on the first floor with a small balcony. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower (once you worked out which knob controlled which water supply they were excellent). We chose to eat demi... More

Brittany has always maintained its separateness from the rest of France. Its highly individual character has to a great extent been influenced by its prehistoric and Celtic past. Even its cuisine is different with crepes and their savoury cousins galettes, washed down with the lovely local cider, being one of the great pleasures of visiting this lovely area. Sainte-Anne dAuray... More

An overnight stop while travelling which proved a real delight. Having visited the town many years ago my wife and I called back and decided to stay overnight. Enquiring elsewhere, L'Auberge was suggested and we duly asked there if there was a room available. We were shown to one on the ground floor, well furnished and fitted in art Deco... More

We spent Easter weekend at this auberge which, to my mind is more a hotel than a B and B as breakfast is not included in the price. The auberge is suburb in every way. The rooms are spacious, spotless, extremely well appointed and open on to a beautiful interior garden. The bathroom, containing both a soaking tub and huge shower... More

We were very happy with our stay in this hotel in early April 2012. The room was larger than we were used to and had a lovely balcony with a view of the garden. The highlight, however, was the restaurant. While we are no gourmets, we can recognise the difference between very good restaurant dinners and the very best. The... More

After a full day of travel and an error on our part regarding confirming our reservation the staff did the best they could to accommodate us and we had a fabulous 3 night demi pension stay. The dinners were excellent and the ambiance of the hotel restful and very charming. We highly recommend it.

The rooms [ground floor] are amaxing. The Dorchester is probably no better ! French windows, Marble floors in seperate toilet, bathroom, shower and bedroom, art deco furniture, wonderful beds. The hotel public rooms are similarly perfect. The customer facing staff are mainly family and are so attentive. The dining is wonderful, a little expensive but worth it ! Breakfast is not as... More

Wonderful impact arriving from the private parking through the nice small garden full of flowers. Elegant hall, big room with all comforts, double-mattress bed for a perfect sleep, WC separate from main big bathroom, hydro-massage shower. Nice Breton-style furniture, giving a really warm environment. Short walk to the impressive St.Anne Basilica, few kms from the charming Auray and all the... More

When we booked this hotel we were surprised at the reasonable rate per room and perhaps a little concerned that it may not be as good as the Trip Advisor reviews indicated. However, we shouldn't have worried, it was absolutely excellent from really great rooms, we had a ground floor 'superior' room with small patio plus table & chairs -... More
