We stayed in one suite with my children in August 2009 during 3 nights. The room was stylish, well maintained and very spacious, overlooking the square and with a glimpse of the ocean at the other side. The bathroom was a little bit old. Breakfast was gorgeus and tasteful, with an impressive and delicious selection of home-made confitures and regional... more

A wonderful little hotel. Our room overlooking the sea was "small but perfectly formed" - the sea lapped against the wall and sitting in the window looking out at the sunset was magical. Our room was spotlessly clean, with fluffy bathrobes and towels. Breakfast was served in our room and was wonderful - home made breads and other delicacies. I... more

This tiny but tres chic hotel is definitely something special with ancient exteriors and ultra modern, minimalist interiors. We were on a romantic break and it was perfect. The young, attractive, elegant staff provided a high level of friendly service. The sea-view rooms across the courtyard from the main hotel looked really quite spectacular. We had a non sea-view room,... more

Four adult family enjoyed a week-end staying at Le Temps de Vivre. Spotlessly clean , minimalist in characterful surroundings. A most pleasant breakfast and all service on the low-key but highly efficient that comes from people who care about service aand saticfaction. The hotel is perfectly positioned within the town for the myriad eating establishments of which many are very... more

This lovely old hotel dating from 1585, yet modernised to a very high minimalist standard, very stylish and particularly nice breakfast for France. We were on the cheaper church square side which can be a bit noisy, the church bells start at 7.00am. Had the hotel as part of a package with Brittany ferries, it was certainly worth the bit... more

A great place to stay. Roscoff is a very attractive town and this is a lovely hotel. Beautiful building, lovely rooms and very friendly, helpful and attentive service. Its a relatively small hotel and not the place to stay if you are looking for somewhere with all the facilities in house but if you want somewhere attractive with a bit... more

We were originaly booked in another hotel in Roscoff, but arrived to find it was little more than a monk cell; much too small for 2 adults to survive for 1 week without injuring each other. We walked through town and stumbled upon Le Temps de Vivre. Lucky for us, as it was the high-season, they had rooms for the... more

Le Temps de Vivre is really a place to stay at if you're visiting Brittany. At all levels, it's pleasant, cosy, tasteful. Most rooms are different from one another, providing different atmospheres. I recommend the "upgraded" or "superior" rooms. It feels like you're on a boat when it's high tide with the seagulls flying right above the roof window. The... more

Beautiful, well-run, small hotel that faces the beach on one side and an old plaza on the other. the attached restaurant, also run by the hotelliers, is outstanding! more

A hotel of character, helpful & pleasant staff, with a genuine desire to make your stay comfortable. Stylish minimalist decor & furnishing, equally stylish set breakfast, served in the dining room, or in the walled garden (weather permitting). Started and finished our 2 week holiday here, well worth the extra cost! more
