Stay at this lovely hotel, have a fantastic lunch while overlooking the bay and you will think you are in heaven! The hotel is charming, with modern bathrooms, comfortable rooms and beds and very helpful and welcoming staff. Of course, you must eat in the restaurant...an experience to savour and enjoy. It is located not far from Mont St.Michel and... More

Dinner here was a fabulous experience. We had the tasting menu, and at 139 Euros it was actually good value, bearing in mind the outstanding ingredients, the surroundings and the obvious expertise that had been bestowed every dish on the menu. The wonderful variety of fish and seafood dishes all bore the hallmarks of Olivier Roellinger's subtle and expert use... More

This IS a relais chateaux in every single way! The 5c are all there. This was an amazing and unforgettable experience. We would repeat it only to come back to this hotel. The restaurant Coquillage is a gastronomic experience. This is one of those places where romanticism floats in the air, but at the same time mystery and passion. If... More

This was our second visit to Chateaux Richeux. We had visited in the fall before and this time in the spring. Definitely visit in the spring. The grounds are wonderfully tended and the flowers are profuse in the spring. Our room overlooked the bay and Cancale in the distance, was spacious, very nicely furnished with a great bed and bathroom.... More

After visiting Mont St. Michel and St, Malo, we stopped by this hotel for a night. From the moment we drove into the garden, I knew it was something special, in spite of the rain. The building was lovely, the garden well-arranged and we parked beside the smokehouse, where the local fish was prepared for the dining room. The marvelous... More

We have stayed at Chateau Richeux frequently over the years. It is an outstanding property with very high standards of comfort and service. On our last visit, the menu in the restaurant had changed and left my husband with no choice of a starter as he does not eat seafood or foie gras. We were most pleasantly surprised on placing... This hotel has panoramic views over semi tropical gardens, to the bay to Mont St. Michel. Our room on the first floor was elegant and spacious with a three dimensional bay window over the sea. The staff welcoming and helpful and dinner excellent. This was born out by the restaurant being busy on a Thursday night, The breakfast was extensive... More

We've visited a number of times and keep coming back for the entire experience. This is high end travel in France at its best. Excellent food and wine, well appointed rooms, and staff who are friendly and eager to make sure you have a great stay. The location and grounds are beautiful.

I booked my one night stay at Chateau Richeux with some trepidation as not all the reviews were great. The hotel itself is! The service was friendly, the building itself was charming and the grounds lovely. Our room overlooked the sea and had a huge bay window with fabulous views. Yes you can see Mt St Michel in the distance... More

Starting with the romantic room overlooking La Manche/Bay of Cancale, even or especially with the low tide pulling one from and through the old windows framed in sparkly cobalt blue mosaic tiles, you are quickly transported to another more elegant time and place through the tremendous effort, expense, and careful aesthetic choices of the owners. From what one has read... More
