What a find! A great hotel with some fab views. We had a double aspect room and so had loads to look at! The restaurants in the town had a huge array of sea food and the plateau de fruits der mer were yum! The hotel restaurant was really good and the specials were excellent. Everywhere was really clean and... More

Lovely fish (something called l'englefer which was a bit like cod) Lovely cake (coconut and banana) Lovely coffee. Best meal we had all week and we had some corkers. We parked in the town and walked down but looked like it would have been easy to park at the port too.

We thought that we would have a change from St Malo as a place to stay before catching the ferry. Cancale is a seaside tourist resort with all the trappings of a popular destination. We were a little dubious at first but the hotel room was both spacious, imaculate and had a great view over the bay. The jewel in... More

We really enjoyed our two days in Cancale and just loved the accommodation!, Rooms were great, we opened up our window to a perfect view of the beach, Picture postcard views, amazing watching the tide come in and go out and the boats sitting on the sand. Although we had rain it was just a lovely place, it added to... More

This was our second year we had visited Cancale and we found this gem of a restaurant last year so we made a return trip to see if the mussels were as good as we had remembered, we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a fantastic view overlooking the port and the mussel beds. The staff are very welcoming and... More

This hotel sits above a large restaurant and the 'check in' area is actually where customers pay for their meals. Unloading baggage is very awkward as there is nowhere to prop and unload - parking is equally difficult - if you find a spot in the beachfront carpark, you have to remember the times and keep moving the car. We... More

There is so much to say about Cancale and this part of France. It is picture postcard beautiful and the town hasn't changed architecturally for a very long time. No 60's apartment blocks here. The hotel is great, perfect location and the rooms with balconies allow you to sit outside with a small table and enjoy the view. The town... More

the corner room where my sister and stay is just perfect, good view of the port , and the room was large, clean, nice bathroom with separated WC. very nice. If you came to Cancale to eat seafood, oyster and mussels, the place to eat is right here, just below your hotel room, good wine also. Just superb . no... More

The hotel itself is modern and lies above its own restaurant which is I expect the main draw of the establishment. The room I had was sea-facing, it had a beautiful view and was very clean and nicely decorated. It was warm when I arrived, and there is no air-con, but I have found that typical of hotels in this... Very centrally located with fabulous views. Very nice rooms, especially the chamber Berge. Book early to get it. The hotel does not have a private carpark. So, arrive early before the paid parking in the lower town fill to overflowing, or later in the afternoon when the lots empty out somewhat. There is free parking near the main church; it... More
