We were meeting up with French friends on vacation in the bayside town of Benodet (August 24-September 3) but we did not want to be confined to a typically small and depressingly decorated hotel room. Domaine de Kereven, a mile or so “inland,” surrounded by 20 acres, sounded perfect. It was. We reserved the last unit available (as of early... More

Fantastic place and so close to Benodet, Sylvie and Christian are the nicest people and will do anything for you, free bikes to amble around on, nice breakfast, lovely and peacefull grounds, can't wait to go back!

We stayed in the hotel, not in a cottage. The rooms were ample, decorated with a whimsical sense of humor. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many bio choices, including bread, yogurt and fresh eggs for boiling. The coffee was the best we had during our whole trip. There is also cheese and a large selection... More

I didn't meet Sylvie, but Christian was great. The gardens are beautiful and he lent my son and I bikes to explore (at no charge). We also played football on the lawns and were allowed to drive the car right up to the cottage gate. He gave us an upgrade for free simply because there was a bigger room available... More

Whilst visiting the Benodet area we were fortunate to stay at this heavenly retreat. For those wishing for beautiful peaceful surroundings, then look no further. The proprietor Sylvie is the ultimate host, nothing is too much trouble (she even understood my atrocious attempts at French and understood my English sense of humour – my wife has likened me to Mr... Lovely tranquil location, just outside Benodet and an ideal spot to discover SW and West Brittany. Warm and helpful care and attention to our needs by the constantly on duty Sylvie! However, given the reviews we read , the interpretation of others' opinions became one of subjectivity with this establishment. Yes, this is a quiet out of town pastoral location.... More

As a single, Australian traveller without a car, I desperately needed somewhere quiet to stay after a couple of disasters. The bus driver dropped me off at the driveway and the owner was so very welcoming, even offering to give me a lift into Benodet (3.5 km) and drop me off with my luggage the following day. It's an easy... More

Hotel with spacious grounds that inspire peace and relaxation. Despite its "remote feel", it is a very short drive to Benodet and Sainte Marine. Solid price/quality relatioinship with very nice innkeepers (Christian and Silvie). We highly recommend it.
